Solid Bathroom Safety Rail
I liked that I could install or remove the Safety Rail in seconds. The rail is very secure and stable upon installation, even when it is being used by the Big & Tall and Accident Prone. It also requires no tools to install, just a bit of upper body strength in order to close the lever that attaches the safety rail to the upper part of the tub. Well worth the shekels to gain safe entry and egress from a slippery bath tub. It also assists setting down and rising from the toilet, depending upon how your bath tub is situated with the toilet. In my case it worked out very well. One hand on the counter and the other hand on the safety rail. JSJ

Senior Safety
I like that it was easy to fit on the tub. No tools needed. It is snug on my tub & it doesn't move at all. Safety is the upmost important reason for purchasing this product.

I would highly recommend them to anyone with any disabilities or that has ...
This is the second one I have ordered I'm not sure I ordered it from the same place but they are essential in my everyday caregiving for my 92 year old mother in law. I have a shower chair for her and then two of these on either side so she can lean on these to get in and out of the tub instead of trying to lean on the shower chair which can move. I would highly recommend them to anyone with any disabilities or that has problems getting in and out of the bathtub. They are stable and last a long time. The only one thing I noticed is that I needed to cover the bolts on the back side so she couldn't scrape herself by accident. And I did that just by covering it with a thick Bandaid. I use one now in my bathtub and as I have MS and it's hard to get up from a bathtub and you cannot count on towel holder's or anything else that hasn't been secured to the wall into the studs. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful product at a good price. Peace and blessings to all Susan Pokorny

Good temporary solution
The rail works very well, but as other reviewers have stated, you do have to keep tightening it. That seems reasonable, considering it's a clamp-on rail, but it would be bad if someone forgot to tighten it and had a slip because the rail slipped while they were using it. I'm glad to have mine, but I'm also conscientious about checking it before getting into the tub. Also, don't use it with soapy hands: the metal is smooth and you won't be able to grip it properly. On the plus side, it is very strong and sturdy and I love the fact that it has two gripping levels. It's a great idea for someone who is temporarily incapacitated, since it's easy to remove when it's no longer needed. I'd buy it again if I needed another temporary gripping rail.

Sturdy if you have the right kind of bath tub.
Installed this rail for my mom to help her when she gets out of the bath tub. The only issue we had is she has an older tub with ridges on the outside of the tub so the rail would not fit securely. We had to move the rail forward towards the front of the tub where there was no ridges. Check the outside of your tub before ordering this product otherwise it won't clamp together securely.

Lasted for several years
My husband sometimes has trouble with balance. Our shower/tub is situated in the bathroom in such a way that there is no wall to hold onto when you step into the tub. So there was no place to affix a grab bar. I was pleasantly surprised to see this product that you attach to the tub. It worked well. We had it for 3 or 4 years. The silver screw did get rusty, but the product still held firmly onto the tub. We ended up selling that house, so I had to remove it. I was able to remove it myself. I recommend this product.

The rail bar does not hold its grip.
I bought two of these tub rails so that my wife could use both hands to enter and leave the tub. When she used them, both of them fell over and dumped her into the tub, fortunately with out injury to her. I reinstalled them and, after 2-3 hours, discovered that I could lift them off the side of the tub without effort. They were loose. I am a big man, have strong hands, and know how to install clamps securely. Moreover I tested them after each installation. They loosen easily. I installed a bathtub rail in another tub in my home over 20 years ago, and it is still as secure as it was when I first installed it.

Occupational Therapist Recommended - Safe & Easy to Install
I am an occupational therapist (OTR) and have researched these for years. This is my favorite model and I just bought this one For ME. I slipped (did not fall) in the bathtub and realized that it's time to take my own professional advice. No screws needed; no tools needed to install. Rust-proof.
