Super Soft Modern Shag Area Rug, 4' x 5', Pink

This rug arrived sooner than expected (15 days sooner) and arrived in this small throw pillow sized package. Immediately I was disappointed, because no way a decent, large, non slip rug would fit in there. Then I unfolded the rug... its amazing!! It took about 12 hours for the rug to lay completely flat. It's very thick and soft shag. The rug is nicely cushy too. The back is like rubber so it won't slide, however I believe it probably might on hardwood floors unless one side was secured by furniture. I would buy this rug in every single color if I had a spot for them. I have this in my daughters room and it doesn't pull apart when she tugs and tears. I haven't washed it yet, and I'm thinking it wouldn't feel the same again if I tried. But then again, it's a $25 huge rug! Worth it. It came with a bit of a smell, like new material or plastic would smell, but only when my nose was down in it did I smell anything. 12 hours later, the smell is totally gone.Over all, this was a total win of a purchase and I can't wait to find a reason to buy another. Well done, 5 stars!

This rug was great when I first got it in May. It is in my nursery so for the first month of having it we didn't really walk on it much because baby wasn't here yet. At first it seemed to be good, it was pretty, felt nice and stuck to our wood floors pretty good. Since we've started walking on it, it has completely lost its shape so it wrinkles when you walk on it and the wrinkles will not go away. It does not stick to the floor anymore and this started after having it only a couple months and still with hardly any traffic since its in the nursery. I washed it a few weeks ago on a hand wash cycle and the backing started to peel off like crazy so it is EVERYWHERE. It is getting worse everyday so now I have to worry about getting a new rug. I would not recommend this thing to anyone.

I just got this rug today, the shipping was sooooo fast! it came in a plastic envalope type thing (a pretty big one) it was folded up but when i laid it on my floor, within half an hour it was completely flat. is super soft and the shag is really long and nice. its also bigger then i expected it to be. i got the pink one and its color is a little bit paler but its still nice and pink. i love itUpdate: ive had this for over a month now maybe longer, ive washed it once and it held up perfectly fine, people are just washing it in correctly when they say that it fell apart. How to wash: Put it alone in the washing mashine, set it to cold wash and put it on delicate, use fabric softener and a good detergent. after its washed DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. hang it over your shower or some where it can hang up to dry, and it will remain super soft and perfect.

I should have read more of the negative reviews. I will start by saying that I did receive the product, and quickly, so I definitely did not get scammed or wait a long time for the product. I knew a $20 rug wasn't going to be glamorous, but the quality is so so terrible. Beyond what I could have expected. It isn't even as thick as a bath mat. The rug itself is comprised of a weird hair that isn't laying right. Maybe if it was over carpet it wouldn't feel so lousy as you walk, but for hardwood floors, it's like walking on a paper towel. Picking the rug up caused myself to get fuzzies all over my clothes. The smell alone is enough to make me remove it from my daughters room for fear of her breathing in the chemicals. I won't even bother returning it for this amount of money as in reading the troubles many customers have had. I will bag it up and donate it and maybe someone can get use out of it as a dog bed or something.

Cute and soft. Goes well in my baby's room. It's not as fluffy as I would like and the quality makes me believe it won't last too long with a lot of use. But it's squishy like memory form so it is nice to walk and play on.

I am the type of person that reads reviews before purchasing anything, and after reading the reviews on this rug, I was a little skeptical. I went ahead and bought it anyway since we are decorating our little girl's nursery on a budget, and the pink one was only $20! That was a huge price difference from most of the rugs out there. I'm SO glad I took the chance. Like other reviewers said, it did come folded up and had a bit of a weird smell, but I laid it out on the floor for about a week just so it could air out and flatten and it looks perfect now! I'm really impressed. I hope that it holds up good for a while, but even if I have to replace it after some time with the same one it's still definitely worth it at this price.

On a positive note, it arrived quickly and is quite squishy, soft, and comfortable. Unfortunately the rug I received is BRIGHT pink, not the light baby pink color shown in the product photos or even the other customer photos. Also as the other reviews mentioned, there is a strong smell. I had to set the rug aside in a separate room because it made my entire bedroom smell like plastic/whatever that scent is. I'm just confused as to why mine is such a different color than the one shown/what others received. Other than that, it's fine for a cheap rug. As soon as the smell goes away. Just wish it was the right color.

Very...very soft! Feels amazing on your feet :)its not thick and it shipped so fast!NEW UPDATE.A few months in, I needed to wash it because it got pee'd on by a dog. Did a gentle cycle, air dried in the sun all day. It ruined any kind of stiffness the rug held and isn't connected to the bottom anymore. I have to buy a whole new rug. You so much as walk on it and it slips under your feet now!!DO NOT MACHINE WASH!
