I purchased this set of cables upon receiving my Nexus 5X, knowing I'd need to juice up my phone while driving. The cords, as other reviewers have mentioned, are relatively stiff, and are NOT rapid-charge capable. Considering anything residing in my car long-term generally has a short life, I was not put off by the stiffness.However, the connection from the USB-C end to my phone is just about as reliable as presidential campaign promises. If I lift my phone vertically...you know, the way people generally hold their phones, the cable inevitably plops out. This is especially irritating because now I'm feeling around blindly in an attempt to keep my eyes on the road. This occurs every time I pick up my phone, without fail.

I had to run through a couple different unreliable cables before I found this one. The first one was fine at face value, but soon enough the connection was unstable enough to cause constant disconnects/reconnects in Windows. The second one just didn't have a good type C end, and it slid out of my phone too easily.This one's good, though. It plugs in securely and is yet to exhibit any unwanted behavior. I'd happily pay the price for one of these, but there are two in the package which is even better value.

Had them for about 2 months now. No problems. Seem very durable and there is no sign of wear. Would and did buy again.

Well It's a 2pack of type c usb cable and they're braided. Only thing I can say is that they work and do their job, simple as that.
