Aran CraftsIrish Soft Cable Knitted Crew Neck Unisex Sweater (100% Pure New Wool)

This sweater is incredibly comfortable. It is a hit, I have received many compliments since I first wore it. I've only worn it a twice since so I will update this after a month. It did have a strong scent of lanolin (sheep) but that was expected. I imagine it will air out as a I wear it. I also drop essential oils on the sweater and this decreases the scent. I personally love the smell but I don't want to smell like that all the time. Additionally the shoulders were a bit tight when I first put it on but immediately relaxed once I wore it the first time.I would 100% recommend this sweater and this seller!IMPORTANT: If you want to be SUPER warm, wear an undershirt beneath the sweater. I wear undershirts under everything but this is a must. It protects your skin from irritation as the sweater becomes "worn in" and gives you a base layer incase the wind is super strong.

This is my second Aran Crafts sweater. They make a fantastic product, I love their sweaters. My fist on was Merino wool and this sweater is just regular wool. This sweater's wool is not nearly as soft or comfortable as the Merino wool but the sweater is top quality. You must wear a thick base layer under this sweater unless you want to be scratched. It is very warm.

The sweater was really well-crafted and looked good. However, the natural color, which was like a cream, didn’t look great on me, and it also looked a little bulkier on me than I would have liked. Finally, material is definitely scratchy. I generally run warm, so I couldn’t imagine always wearing a long sleeved shirt beneath this warm sweater.I ended up returning the sweater, but I was so impressed with the quality of the product that I bought two more sweaters from Arran Crafts, a cardigan and a regular sweater. Both are merino wool, and both look and feel incredible. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Item arrived on time and in new condition. Adequate packaging (plastic shipping bag), however it provided little protection for the sweater. Very well made. Nice, deep coloring. 100% high quality wool ... not scratchy. Fits well. My only slight complaint is the sweater is much thinner/lighter than I expected based upon description. Thus I think $60-$80 would be more appropriate..

I am so happy with this product. We used to have beautiful sweater from Norway but for some reason we don't anymore. This sweaters quality is absolutely perfect. So happy I bought this for my dad. He is visiting us in Arizona and he is wearing this sweater; says it help with arthritis. Thanks

I ordered a men's small for my son, who is about 5'10" and 130 lbs. The sweater was so small it fits me perfectly (size -4 -6 US woman) . I paid for expedited shipping and it took over a week (it comes from Ireland). Not enough time to order another one. The sweater is otherwise beautiful and well made.

Fit: I got a large since I like looser fitting sweaters. The cuffs and nice and tight. Collar doesn't say. It is a big baggy. I think a medium would've fit me better.Material: it's 100% wool. It's scrachy like it's supposed to be. And VERY warm and heavy.Quality: I didn't see a single loose yarn or anything. Very well made. The pattern is beautiful.

Hight: 1.80cmWeight: 83KgAthletic with wide shoulders.My size is usually in between L and XL. If a product is a slim fit I always go with XL. Also If I want a relaxed look I also go for XL. But if the product is normal or relaxed fit Large is my size. So didnt know if i should go with L or XL. I have checked the sizing chart and the chest measurements put me on Large. But I ordered XL anyways. I guess to be on the safe side.I am pretty happy with the fit. See the attached photo for reference. I think L would also fit, maybe with a slimmer look and shorter arms... Actually now looking at the photo I can see XL being baggy on the arms and arm pit area but for the cozy cabin look/feel I am fine with XL.Overall its true to size.As for the product I am pretty happy with the quality. No strong odor/smell like other comments mentioned. Yes the wool is itchy and stings a bit but that doesn't bother me. I have nothing bad to say about this product.
