In the relatively unimportant world of audio enjoyment, this is Nirvana
Short version: OMG, this is so great. The shallow consumer side of my life is now complete.Longer version: Music is important to me. I can create a mood-cocoon with it which helps me work and play. As someone who started my recorded-music-listening-life (I also play...another story) probably with a transistor radio, I have appreciated every new development. Bluetooth speakers were an awesome milestone....until I realized you couldn't link them. I get it technically, Bluetooth was developed to be a secure platform, but do I really need security when streaming jams in my house? Maybe so, whatevs, but the idea that now I was stuck with a single speaker was bizarre, a complete regression. This simple plug and play system solves that probably at a crazy low price. The sound: Again, I know music and quality is important to me, but I'm not insane about it. I have been using a Creative D200 speaker for a long time and found the quality fine. This system is similar. Good base drive and clarity in the highs. Plenty of punch for me. What the dude with the 3-star review says is somewhat true...the range of the music source to base speaker is not huge, but c'mon your option is running wires everywhere a la 1972 or to pay a LOT more for a boutique system or to keep your source close to the base speaker. Rather than nitpicking, I say we erect a statue to whoever developed this system. Hail to thee!!

they're great. But the bluetooth often drops (and even more ...
Soooo, I figure I've given these ample time. When they work, they're great. But the bluetooth often drops (and even more lately for some reason); and I ordered a second set hoping I could pair them (with the hope of having music upstairs and downstairs for a party that's now come and gone) and if there's a way to do it, it's not intuitive. So I'll take some more time and likely call the manufacture to talk me through how to feed through all 4; but for now--I've had the first set for about a year, and now the second & I just wish they worked the way I'd hoped they would.Updating now many months later & going from 2 stars to 1. I cannot possibly impart how incredibly frustrating these "bluetooth" speakers are. I was an idiot & that second set I purchased is basically worth nothing more than a paper-weight, as they seem to 'compete' with eachother when trying to connect. And now the main set is virtually not even bluetooth. Its tethered to the wire.Hope this saves you all some money

Good for the price, but some issues with Wifi interference
Very good sound for the price. Wifi connection to satellite speakers and pairing works great. I also like the size and design, just what I needed. The bluetooth connection only works 4-5 meters from my Macbook to the Masterspeaker. If I go further away the music starts crackling due to the bad connection. However this does not bother me too much, I can get closer or connect by cable. Main issue is the WiFi signal that somehow seems to interfere with the home network. The Masterspeaker is place over 5 meters from the modem, but there is definitively an interference that slows down the wifi. As soon as I disconnect the Master and turn off, the Wifi improves again. I could not find out a solution so far and support only gave me basic tips that have not helped either.

Best Way To Connect an older big screen
With a $25 Bluetooth connector, you can have amazing surround sound without wires hanging around

Worked great until...it didn't :-(
So disappointed - worked awesome about a dozen (maybe) times in less than 4 months - I can no longer get any sound out of the master speaker, the satellite speaker still works, so I know the master is getting a connection with my source. Really thought this was a great buy (with lots of compliments), now it's $250 piece of junk...DO NOT BUY! :-(
