KitchenAid KSB1575MC 5-Speed Diamond Blender, Metallic Chrome,56 oz

Bought this after I blew the motor on my previous blender in a Nutella experiment gone wrong. I really wanted to get a glass blender, but I went ahead and got this one because it had good reviews. Love the bright green color - it matched the color on the website perfectly. It came in the original KitchenAid box and just had to be rinsed out before use. So far I've made smoothies with frozen and fresh fruit and it is puréed everything like a dream. I thought my old black and decker was good, but I'm very impressed with this one!It's not too loud (for being a blender). The controls are very easy to use and you can run each setting continuously or on pulse. The blades are built into the base of the blender jar, which I thought would be an issue when it comes to cleaning, but it hasn't. So far I've been able to just swish warm soapy water in it and it cleans like a dream. Also the plastic blender jar hasn't been an issue. It's a very thick clear acrylic type material and it's so much lighter than glass, which is nice when lifting it off the base and the blender is full of heavy smoothie. It's a slightly squared jar shape, but I haven't had any issues with things not blending well or collecting in the corners.I did a lot research endure picking out my new blender and I'm so glad I picked this one. If you're looking for a general purpose blender that won't break the bank I highly recommend this one - plus you can pick from awesome colors! Happy blending!

I decided to start making veggie-heavy smoothies every day, and needed a blender capable of turning all those fruits, veggies, and seeds into a suitable chilly goo.I first ordered a Ninja Professional blender, but sent it back -- while the Ninja was an excellent macerator, it never really blended. Each smoothie felt like a collection of tiny pieces of the ingredients. Also, the Ninja didn't pull the ingredients down toward the blades, but rather splashed them up onto the sides, making it so that I could never really see how much finished product I had in there.The KicthenAid 5-speed does the job very well. It pulls all the ingredients down in a vortex, doesn't aerate them too much, and really breaks them apart so that the resulting smoothie is smooth and creamy. It doesn't quite manage to break down all the tiny raspberry and blackberry seeds, but it does greatly reduce the number of these seeds that remain whole and crunchy compared to my old Cuisinart model. I regularly throw in whole apples, citrus, carrots, brussels sprouts, cabbage, kiwis -- all that stuff is broken down into a nice uniform smoothie stuff.Cleanup is also very easy, I love that the blade assembly is all in one piece with the jar so you never have to worry about dissembling it and washing the gasket. I'm also a big fan of the way this blender slowly builds up to speed; my only minor gripe is that it seems to begin by going full speed for a half second when you first hit the button. This has resulted in some unnecessary splashing, but again it's a minor gripe. Overall this is a great blender, looks and works great, powerful motor, and I expect to be using it for a number of years.

I love this blender. I was considering the Vitamix for a long while, but just couldn't bring myself to shell out that much money, and I'm glad I didn't. This blender is great quality for a much more reasonable price. I use it every day to make a smoothie for breakfast, and have had no issues. I have also pureed soup in it. It has a fairly compact footprint--I leave the base on my counter at all times. The jar itself is tall, and with the top on adds about 2.5 extra inches to the height, so it's something to check on if you need it to fit under a counter/shelf. The power switch on this blender is slightly different from other models: you have to press the "power" button, then one of the "speed" buttons before it turns on. I think this is a safety measure, but it takes two presses to start the blender, though it is not at all inconvenient. I put the jar in the dishwasher weekly and it comes out beautifully clean, with no wear and tear thus far. The base is smooth and easy to wipe clean. I have had no issues with chunks or lumps with this blender; I usually let the blender run for 45 seconds to a minute, and am very happy with the blended quality. The top fits snugly in the jar so there's no fear of the lid flying off during blending. The base has non-stick stuff on the bottom so it does not vibrate around. I am very happy I bought this instead of the Vitamix!

Excelente!...mi mamá me insistía muchísimo en esta marca...la suya le duró 12 años...y hasta el día de hoy compramos esta ya que la otra ya necesitaba y merecía descansar...!!!Es importante mencionar que gracias a la calidad de su vaso puedes moler cosas calientes y que decir del motor...por el precio, vale cada salsa que hacemos!!!

Excelente servicio de Amazon, he tenido licuadora Kitchenaid durante años y me gusta mucho la marca, antes tenía la anterior ksb560 y me salió muy buena, y quise subir de nivel y no hallaba si otra vez Kitchenaid o vitamix, me decidí por Kitchenaid, la pedí y tuve un problema con ella después de un tiempo y a pesar de que es una gran licuadora, y marca excelente, tuve un problema con el vaso y se me descompuso, la base funcionaba muy bien, pero el vaso no. Me comunique con servicio a clientes de Amazon la respuesta y garantía de Amazon es excelente, me enviaron una guía para la devolución y en cuanto les llegó me hicieron devolución de mi dinero a tarjeta. Y me decidí probar la vitamix 750 pro también con garantía de compra de Amazon. El tiempo que tuve la licuadora hizo muy bien su trabajo, smothies, licuados, batidos todo muy bien con gran potencia, y perfectamente molido todo con una consistencia muy suave de un buen licuado si sentí mucho más potencia y licua mucho, mucho mejor que la anterior Kitchenaid ksb560, todo más perfectamente molido. Quizá tuve mala suerte con el vaso ya que insisto la marca Kitchenaid es excelente , he tenido y tengo muy buenos productos de la marca. Seguiré comprando en Amazon.

Considero que es bastante potente, hace poco ruido y licua bastante bien, sus modos que tiene dejan la textura del alimento como lo promete, incluso a veces la uso en lugar de mi procesador (misma marca) y me da resultados similares (aunque aclaro que sirven para cosas distintas).Fácil de lavar y bastante segura de usar, pues se tiene que poner de cierta forma para que funcione. Los materiales son de calidad.Buena para el uso diario.

I am a big fan of Kitchen Aid products. We purchased this product when our old blender just stopped working. I reviewed and researched a lot of blenders before choosing this one.I have never once had an issue with this blender. I like how the blender body is all one piece and there are no parts to worry about. The blender body is made of some fort of plastic.The motor is quieter than our other blender but still noisy.Another great function is it has 5 speeds, all of which you can run on one of two settings:1. Pulse2. Full PowerThe blender body and lid are dishwasher safe which is another bonus.We make smoothies with ice a lot, and there are never chucks of fruits or ice in our drinks.

Excelente producto, es muy silenciosos, efectivo al momento de licuar y la capacidad el vaso es cómoda para las actividades diarias de una cocina domestica.Se ve de muy buena calidad las partes, es fácil de limpiar y el motor trabaja sin esfuerzo, es una articulo que vale la pena comprar. Ya hemos tenido cuatro o cinco licuadoras corrientes y de menor precio, pero esta es de mayor calidad y mejor desempeño sin ser exageradamente costosa.
