I wanted some bomb scissors. I got bomb scissors.
I got tired of never having a decent pair of scissors and trying to track-down the cheap scissors that my kid made off with. Those scissors sucked anyways. I knew I had to have my own scissors.I'll be honest, these are overkill for most scissor stuff. But they are beautifully crafted in Italy and I would drunkenly order these giant, classy scissors again. These are top-shelf. And most importantly--my kid can't take my scissors if she can't even lift them.I'm sure they would also work for dressmaking and upholstery and the things they were originally intended for. I would 100% buy these if I was doing a lot of serious cutting--very comfortable to hold and quite sharp.
