I have 5 Arlo cameras, but for some reason the purchase quantity was restricted on the Arlo Outdoor Security Mount when I went to buy them so I ended up with 4 of those and 1 of these. This mount is about half the price of the Arlo Outdoor Security Mount (as of this writing), but if I had it to do over again I'd probably buy 5 of these and save a few bucks. Yes, the mount is plastic and the Arlo mount is metal, but to be honest given the weight of the camera and the use case (statically mounted and only interrupted for battery changes) I don't see that being a drawback. I have only had them a couple of weeks so I'll update this review if I end up having a problem with the mount, but I think this is a solid choice for an outdoor Arlo mount. Some reviews mention the screws. I can't comment on those since I didn't try to use the screws from any of the mounts I purchased. I had a box of coarse thread outdoor screws in my workshop and grabbed those straightaway. I don't often use included screws for anything since they are often lackluster quality compared to what you have on hand or what your local home improvement store stocks.

This is a decent mount for the price. The only advice I would have is to be sure you line up the holes in the proper way so that the camera sits on top of the mount. I didn't do that and my camera has to now hang under the mount which somewhat restricts the movement. It's fine, just a minor annoyance.

We bought this product to install arlo netgear cameras. We felt that the offered by netgear were overpriced. So we had three installs to do , one on the aluminum frame of the pool enclosure,other at a tree and the third on the soffit on the side of the house. The enclosure is dark brown so the white base would stick like a sore thumb so we spray painted. The product is hard plastic easy to install pivots in only one direction , which I think is a great limitation since you need to be very careful before you drill holes that you try the location of the base. But again we were able to manage and work well. I think is a good product and the design could improve at the rotating/pivoting end.

Works great with the Arlo camera. Very easy to adjust!!! Looks professional.

Great, more affordable option to the "official" product. I followed other's suggestions to use my own "rust proof" screws,....and also to first align the mount before drilling and screwing down the wall mount. It seems sturdy and was easy to use.....no cracking during screw tightening(although I did use only hand tightening so as not to stress the plastic base.). Make sure to put the camera on the mount and pre-plan any permanent attachment, because there is not much rotation allowed (lots of "tilt" variation ,'though!) in the aiming process with the camera in these mounts.This was strong enough and adequate for the camera and also did tilt for "aiming" the device. I was totally satisfied with this item. The plastic is good and thick.....and does it's job well ,with a bit of pre-planning.

Arrived on time, like it better than the authentic Arlo wall mount. ;)

Excellent mounting system for my Arlo Pro Security Camera. It is a very sturdy and flexible mounting system. In order to line up the tilting notch to be exactly where you want it - when screwing on the camera you have to tighten - check alignment - un-tighten a turn or two - rotate/adjust the notched flange - and then re-tighten. Sounds harder than it is. So - I installed the base and screwed on my camera - and it was a very solid installation. One reviewer said something about poor screws were included ?? I do not know what he meant . The screws included were perfect for this installation - and also included drywall anchors for drywall installations. And - they included an extra of both !!

I love this camera system. I did a ton of research and decided this is the best for my at home business, and there is a few reasons why.First, its user friendly and friendly on the wallet. I like that I can be virtually everywhere and know EXACTLY what is going on at my business and home. The batteries do not last long, but for the price I can't complain. I love this system and will probably buy more for my rental property as well. I think everyone should invest in at least one camera like this to even watch their driveway at night, or watch their pets at home while you're gone. It's perfect for at home or small business.But as for these mounts- they are absolutely perfect for this camera, they are smaller and user friendly and they do the exact same thing at half the price for the name brand ones!
