CAT LOVES IT! Human thought there was red.
I bought this for the 15-yr-old cat who spends much of his time lying on a flat corrugated cardboard scratcher, as well as using it to scratch. He especially likes the scratching pad in the summertime when he doesn’t need the warmth of a fleece or fluffy bed.I wasn’t sure how he’d respond to the bowl shape of this bed/scratcher. I sprinkled a little catnip on it to counteract the smell of shipping in plastic in the summer. He scratched it a few times then left it alone. When it cooled off at night I found him curled up in it asleep! Yay!!My only complaint is the color. My monitor showed some pink, but also some major patches of red. Forget red, it’s a pink-y terra cotta. Since the accent colors in my room are red and orange, I’ll have to buy a little bit of acrylic paint so I don’t need to hide this cat bed. Luckily, the frame of the cat bed is cardboard, too, so it shouldn’t be too big a job.UPDATE: 2nd cat wants to use it, too!

My cat's favorite place
There is a sleeping Maine Coon-ish cat covering the OVAL ComSaf MSBC corrugated cardboard Scratch Pad/Lounge Bed in the photo. Although she barely fits, this is her go-to 24/7/360 happy place. She has abandoned her larger, round lounge bed for this design. For trips to the vet, I plop her and this oval lounger in a big cardboard box (with holes for ventilation), tape it closed, and away we go, happy as clams. She only scratches this lounger and, after 5 weeks, there is no noticeable wear. It is easily vacuumed. Unlike other (flat) scratch boxes, neither the cardboard nor the glue smells.

Approved by a veterinarian (me)
I am a veterinarian. I bought this because this is the proper size for a scratching post, scratching posts need to be longer then the length of a cat all stretched out. This does that even on my very long cat.

Must buy for scratchy cats
I bought this for my medium sized cat. She really likes it - both to lay in and scratch. It’s very sturdy - my children have stood in it without it breaking or crushing the cardboard. The outer box is very durable.

My cat loves it
I bought this for a feral cat we took in because he wanted nothing to do with scratching posts or pads. He scratched this the first time he saw it, and also prefers to sleep in it over all his soft beds. He loves it!

Thick and sturdy scratching entertainment
The 4 scratching posts in our house were not enough for our two boys. One was still tearing up the living room furniture. Bought this and the round disc insert for the ball circle. They love both of them! Our oldest uses the lounge as a lounge and they fight over the round disc. I ordered more round ones because now they can share. I have not seen our Dennis the Menace scratching the rug or the furniture since we got these.

Needs better adhesive
After day four, the things split in half. The glue came undone and it was useless as one toy. The good thing is the cat loves to scratch on it and lay on it. I took the other half and gave it to my granddaughter’s cat who likes it as well. It just needs to be glued properly and other than that is a good scratch toy.

Finally Something My Finicky Cat Will Use!!
After ordering and returning so many things (toys, playthings, things to stimulate him )for my picky cat I finally got something he will use besides the carpet. Luna stretches out on it and lays there. He also uses it as a scratching pad. I am happy and so is Luna. He is most content sleeping in a box. Lol
