This is my 5th purchase, it is April and I last purchased in November so they last quite awhile with nearly daily wear. This will be a staple forever for me, I can't believe there are still no reviews so I thought I'd add one. This is for Black Rose. I wish this brand made other deep colors, I have searched to find other brands that would be similar for burgundy or dark brown or other goth bitch shades, but literally nothing is as good as this, so this might be the darkest I can get. This is a good pigmented red. Once it sets I don't feel anything on my lips. It starts out looking and feeling like a lipstick but settles into a stain 😍. It does not cake or feather or pill. I use Bigelow Night Balm to rehydrate at home, and this helps keep the lipstick from drying out my lips when I wear it. Otherwise, it can be drying. This stays well even with my chapstick obsession, this remains even with all day chapstick application on top which nothing else has done for me. This stays pigmented for A LONG TIME. I only have to reapply maybe 4x from 6:30 AM to the wee-hours. If I do not reapply at all I will still have great color, but I want that deep darkness and I think 4x for a full day and night is excellent. You need an oil cleanser to get it removed completely and that is how I want it. Exfoliating your lips in the shower in the morning is a hot tip so your lips take the color really well. This does not stain up a mask or coffee cup once it dries. I can kiss my partner and he's not eating lipstick or dealing with lip marks on his cheeks, so he loves it too. A+ please never discontinue. Please add more deep shades for us darklings who want variety and minimal effort to remain juicy lipped. 😍*UPDATE* I continue to try to find something as good as this lippie for other colors. I NEED a stain for long-lasting no transfer color. I NEED the product to not completely parch my lips, dry into a crust on top of my lips or flake off. I NEED it to take chapstick/gloss application on top. There is just NOTHING as good as this. It just melts into your skin feeling like nothing and lasts and lasts. I even had high hopes for the Fenty lip stain because the tester stained my hand for a whole day. It does not last on lip skin. I was impressed with the videos of Sunset Makeup's lasting abilities, but was also disappointed. I am now on my 10th purchase of this.

Color lasts long but it's not a glossy finish like shown in the ad

i got this for my mom and it's very good. i will say it's very bright red and let me tell you i learned this the hard way, this will not come off. be very minimal with putting this on bc trust me it will not come off. otherwise it's really great!! it kind of comes on shiny but dries sort of matte.

I was excited to try this color but it isn't at all close to the picture. It came out a bright almost neon pink. I was very disappointed.

**added a picture for those asking about it’s ingredients, FYI they’re all safe!** 1st ingredient in this lip stain is Castor Oil, second is Cocoa Butter, both shown to be humectants & great hydration for your lips containing fatty acids to help your lips retain moisture as well as ample antioxidants & nourishment! Anyway, the product itself has worked great for me, it’s a true blue-based red (at least that’s how it shows up on me) it’s like deeper stain version of Ruby Woo in my opinion & it works for my fair cool toned skin but I can see it working universally for everyone. Most lip stains rub off fairly quickly on me but this one lasts! Also the tube itself lasts forever as well which for the price you can’t beat. I also really like the classic lipstick💄packaging. I will continue to purchase this💝

Bought this in Black Rose to try to find something comparable to Clinique’s Black Honey. This is kind of leaning the same direction but it comes out a bright cherry red instead of a berry color, which is what I was expecting. I love red lipstick anyhow so I’m not that disappointed, I was just expecting something more sheer. This stains your lips and lasts quite a while- generally my lips are still a little stained next day, and it’s a pretty color. Straight out of the tube this is pretty opaque, and shiny, so precision application is a must! If you want something more natural and less intense, try applying with a bit on your finger.

The colour is off, rather a pink than the lovely red shown.
