I can't tell if it is a good thing or a bad thing that my cat likes this so much. He begs for it every day. Insofar as this gel is (I hope) good for him, I'm not unhappy about that. But ever since I started giving this to him, even just a little dab on my finger once a day, his interest in his regular food seems to have diminished, which worries me. He's acting like an addict. What is in this gel that could be so addictive? The box mentions only the vitamins and minerals it contains, but doesn't specify the carrier substance. Should I keep supporting his habit, or should I make him go cold turkey? I guess I should ask my vet.

My dog refused to eat anything that i put this on. Even the tiniest amount, such a shame.
