It just arrived and it does have the seal.

Can I just buy the flap

I broke my flap too and had to purchase the whole piece. About a month later my daughter cracked the actual medium size blender portion. So we ordered that geez it's like having a new Ninja. The motor portion hasn't failed me yet.

Can I just buy the rubber seal inside the lid

I have not seen that this is available. I have just bought the replacement lids. I do have one that the rubber seal keeps coming off of but I just put it back on when I need to use it and, so far so good.
