Useful, did its job and the plastic broken at the end of our 5 day ski trip
As I mentioned it did its job, very helpful for the kid to pick the pizza or inner eight “八” regardless how you would to call it since the first time skier could not hold the position during the ride. This one greatly helped them and my kid could do a green after couple of days using this one, much better than you continuously roaring at them on the slope. Definitely useful.Similar to other comments, since it is cold out and your kids keep rubbing the little plastic one, at the end of our second day, it started to tearing apart. Not suppress but I was worried about it at that moment. Finally, it broke and it is the time for the little one to ski without it.So, in all. Have an estimate of the kids level, prepare an additional one. You can’t expect this useful 10 buck stuff to last longer than 5 days (from any seller).

It works wonders!
I used three for my three kids, ages 8, 6, and 4. My 4 year old had never skied before and after helping him down the run just one time he was able to ski the rest of the day on his own! These things are worth hundreds of dollars when you consider how well they help to teach kids to ski. I saw countless parents struggling with hoola hoops, leashes, or just plain back breaking holding their kids while skiing. Skip all of that and buy the edgie wedgies. It made my life so easy taking my three very inexperienced kids skiing all on my own. I didn't have any issues with them breaking (don't over torque them) or falling off. Occasionally the Bungie would get looped over and stuck on the screw for my 6 year old (making the distance between skis closer) but it was a minor inconvenience. The only down side is my 4 year old struggled on flat or slight uphills in the lift line. I had to pull him along which was easy enough to do (by hooking the bungee with my ski pole). The older kids had enough leg strength to move in the line while they were still using the edgie wedgie.Buy these, you will not regret it! They are worth 10x the price they are sold for when you have an experience like I did. A full day of skiing, happy and independent kids, and a proud dad! All without frustration and a sore back!

A must for first time kids...
The EW is a must for the first time child skier. It keeps them from crossing their tips and makes it easy for them to make the “pizza” for slowing down. I can’t imagine trying to teach my 4yo without it. Definitely worth the price. That said, it’s not the most durable plastic and can break with aggressive use but I take the blame since we were taking jumps.

Great Learner's Aid - Hope it Lasts
This was economical, easy to use, and very effective in helping my young child learn to ski. It did not damage the skis -- which had been one of my initial concerns. The only reason I do not give it five stars is that the "rubber band" is showing clear signs of wear/stress already, and I'm not sure how long it will last.

Great for teaching kids
This product was a life saver when teaching my little one to ski. It helps a ton and allows the young ones to get a feel for maneuvering on their own. Plus the added benefit of being a bit more hands off.Cons: does leave a small mark in the ski-tip from tightening.

Who Doesn’t Love a Wedgie?!
If you’re new to skiing, or teaching a young child how to ski, you cannot go wrong with the Edgie Wedgie. Helps keep the skis in line as well as works on good form. Just make sure to take it off prior to loading the lift.

Worked perfect for my 2 yr old
Helped get my toddler going on his own quickly. Super easy to remove when you want to let them learn without it.
