Product description Cypress Hill ~ Skull & Bones .com As rap-metal hybrids continue to sell millions, Cypress Hill fills the "Bones Disc" of this two-CD set with a half-dozen hard rockers that keep things loose-limbed enough to incite the dance floor to something other than moshing. The best music the group has released in years, it shows that this decade-old act is still capable of surprise. The accompanying "Skull Disc" hardly delivers the same jolt, but should satisfy hardcore fans of the Hill. While Cypress Hill sound convincing and forceful over the 64 minutes of Skull & Bones, the record's lyrics have little new to say: most of these songs warn off would-be competitors, praise ganja, or complain about the hardships presented by the rappers' celebrity status. Still, the crunching "Bones" tracks and the occasional Spanglish verses show that this crew hasn't run out of spirit yet. --Bob Roget

This disc is "Another Victory".
I believe "Cypress Hill" got dissed by some for jumping on the rap-rock bandwagon with this one, but since they were around before most, and do it better, who cares. Disc 1 is the best rap they've released since "Black Sunday", and includes the great tracks "(Rap) Superstar", "Stank Ass Hoe", and "What You Want From Me". Disc 2 is the rock part of it, and includes the cool "Valley Of Chrome", "Can't Get The Best Of Me", and "(Rock) Superstar". In short, it's one of my favorites of theirs, and should satisfy your craving for both genres.

Like the Skull not a fan of the Bones.
This is a two cd collection from Cypress Hill, I really enjoyed the Skull cd but I thought the Bones cd sucked. The Skull cd is classic Cypress Hills but the Bones cd is kind of a rock cd, I'm glad they kept them separate because I just gave the second cd away and kept the first one. But still the first cd is worth having.

Both CDs are good.
I purchased this CD because I am a fan of the rap-rock mixture (as well as listening to them separately). I wish the second CD (the rock one) had more songs, but that's ok. Both CDs are good.

You wanna be a rap superstar?
This was the album that Cypress Hill needed, after a couple of poor albums and only a few hit singles ('Dr Greenthumb') they needed to go back to what made them so good on Cypress Hill and Black Sunday. Skull & Bones does this perfectly, the album kick starts with 'Another Victory' and '(Rap) Superstar' both show-casing B-Real's highly intelligent and pure rapping abilites, the album continues on with fantastic production from DJ Muggs (see 'Certified Bomb') and solid and precise rapping from Sen-Dog as well. After this they stepped their game up to show that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the world of Hip Hop. The only downside is disc 2 Bones, Hill attempt Nu-metal and make a hell of a track with '(Rock) Superstar' but it just doesn't fit their style. They are rap superstars not rock superstars. Apart from that I would highly recommend this to any Cypress Hill fan, but if you are just starting out with this to this band check out their first and second album, both essentials of Hip Hop.Best Track: (Rap) Superstar
