Sorry, I don't know too much about the product but it seemed to help keep my hair and my roots moisturized.

It made my hair a little thicker and stronger as a long with washing weekly and massaging into scalp.

Q: Does this help with hair grow as well?

If you are not a woman of color with thick strand hair DO NOT! NOT! NOT! USE THIS PRODUCT. It is thicker than petroleum jelly. It will not come out of your hair. It took me 12 washings and finally I had to put baking soda in my hair 4 or 5 times to get it out. I pulled out more hair trying to get this stuff removed then it was worth. If you want your hair to grow use the vitamin Biotin. Believe it or not, a white vinegar wash once a month is also good for hair growth. You put about a cup of vinegar in a glass of hot water. Cover your hair then wash it out. It will smell a little, but after a couple of washing the smell goes away. Vinegar is a wonderful clarifier. It’s also good for your scalp. Look it up online. Castor is good for greasing your door hinges only.

Mink oil is extracted from the fatty layer of the "pelt" of the mink. Unfortunately , the mink was killed for its fur to make mink coats.
