This light it is what you are looking for, I purchased this item last Feb 2013 for my husband and brother, and they loved it. They go night spear fishing and they use this light for under dark open ocean waters. The light is tiny but amazing to see each other far enough under dark waters and give it will give you peace of mind to now your partner is there. It is light weigh, perfect size to put it attach to your mask; it has a powerful light and long lasting batteries. Just need good care and will last you long enough to make you happy. I usually wait for my husband and brothers when they go spear fishing, and this light make me see them from the seashore to 200 mtrs or more inside the open waters every time they come out to breath, it really make me feel they are safe!I used to get nerves the whole time until I see they arrive to me in the dark. Now, I see every move they do inside the water, I think is a good life saver as well, from boats and if you are with others it good to have different colors. They use this lights in the cost of Costa Rica where there is not light at all on the beaches. For sure I am ordering more for friends and other family members since all the guys are going crazy with this cool toy!!

This beacon shows a constant color, is lightweight and floats up. Everyone on our night dives appreciates being able to tell our group from others. The price is reasonable too.

Unlike most dive tank lights, these lights actually float, which I like. The rope cord works fine. They are not as bright as I would like, and therefore only 2 stars. I wish they would redesign these to be brighter.Note: The human eye "sees" the color green better (brighter) than other colors. Given that these lights are not that bright, I would suggest that you only get them in the green color.

These work great. We add a little bit of a pool noodle to it to make it float just above your tank.

Decent little light. It's not as bright as I thought but definitely provides an indication of where you or your buddy is. I clipon mine to the back of my BC and use it as a backup.

Neat little light! Lasts for about 4 hours. The different colors help identify divers on night dives and isn't too bright to distract from suroundings under water. Also can be used to locate a diver on the surface. Keep one in your pocket for emergencies.

I mistakenly ordered too many Blue and wanted some Green for an upcoming dive trip on Utila Is (Hoduras) for a lot of night time shore dives. I am quite pleased that somehow they changed the order to match my need
