Swedish Goggles Original Monterbara (Smoke)

I love these goggles. They fit right into my eye socket and stay put. No water gets in and they don’t fog easily. I used this type of goggles when I was younger and on a swim team and they are still ranked amongst my favorites. HOWEVER, if you have never used these goggles before I highly recommend you go to a store and try them on before purchasing. These goggles have no padding, so the plastic sits right on your skin. If you don’t have the right shaped eye socket, these will be very uncomfortable for you. You also have to put them together by tieing the string to the right length for the nose bridge, and putting the rubber head strap through the side holes on the goggles and tieing them to the right length to fit around your head. These are really good goggles for those of us who have the right shaped eye sockets. I highly recommend them.

I love my swedes. I have used these for over twenty years for competition and practice. I find these to be significantly more comfortable than any other swim goggle.I highly recommend these goggles for any competitive swimmer and those who swim laps for health reasons and fun.Yes, these need to be assembled. Yes, the directions are not found in english. Yes, you can find all the answers on youtube if you are not familiar with this item.PS- Anyone who gives these goggles a less than stellar review either received an item they didn't order; received a knock off; or has no idea what they were ordering.

These goggles are a classic and there are good reasons for that. It takes a bit of effort to set them up, and it takes a bit for your eye sockets to adjust to them. Once you get over that, the fit is perfect, with minimal pressure. An absolute must is to take a bit of sandpaper and smooth out the sharp edges left over from the molding process, especially near the nose. Fitting is a bit of trial and error, but the thing to remember is that more tension in the straps is not the answer to a better fit - it's the balance between the nose bridge and head straps. Speaking of the head bridge, it's best to replace the string version with a bit of the strap material to make it easier to adjust.If they leak at the outside edges, try to loosen the nose bridge, then tighten the head strap. . If they leak at the nose, loosen the head strap, then tighten the nose bridge if necessary. Remember that it takes a few of hours of swimming for your eye sockets to adjust

I Only Use These Goggles For The The Swedish Lens. I Did Not Use The Straps Since I Bought Separate Bungee Straps (That I Highly Recommend) So Not Sure If They Easily Break But My Swedish Goggles Did Not Get Come With The Blue Plastic Thing Over The Thread For Comfort (Since The Thread Is A Little Painful On The Nose.)

These had some sharp edges on them when they arrived (just like the ones we bought in high school). After a couple of minutes with a piece of sand paper, the goggles were easily cleaned up and ready to go. They work as well as any goggle I'm even owned. I would recommend these. Shipping was very fast too.

These are a classic. I've worn them for +22 years. All around my favorite google, and I've spent countless hours behind them. Indoor I prefer light blue or clear out door as dark as possible..

Swam in college, used these everyday and are super comfortable because you have to set them up to your own face.
