Dolphin Premier Robotic Pool Cleaner (2024 Model) with Multimedia, Oversized Leaf Bag, Standard & Ultrafine Filters, Weekly Timer, Waterline Cleaning & More — for In-ground Swimming Pools up to 50ft

I bought the dolphin premiere a year ago after researching every brand and model. I have a 29,000 gallon in ground pool, 36’ x 18’, 8 ft deep. The dolphin has been stellar. I love that it has 3 filters to choose from because we get a lot of tree debris in the pool during spring and fall. The bag attachment has been amazing at picking up the leaves and I don’t need to stop and empty it. I use the medium or fine filter cartridges otherwise when not dealing with leaves. Even the medium filter cartridges picks up a good amount of leaves. It takes 3 hours for it to clean the pool, it’s never gotten stuck. I use it almost daily and it’s kept the pool so clean. We used to use a pool service but the pool was often dirty because they only came out once a week. So the dolphin has been amazing because I can run it daily. I take it out after it’s done, every time, and rinse out the filter cartridges. I have 2 complaints and that is the quality of the storage dolly isn’t great although it hasn’t failed on me. And I also find it difficult to wrap the cord up and attach it to the storage dolly because it very stiff and resistant to being looped up (although that’s why it works well in the water and doesn’t knot up). But aside from that I’m very pleased with my purchase and it was well worth the money.

This pool cleaner is FANTASTIC!! I totally recommend. I decided after 3 failing pool companies I was going to clean my pool instead of having a pool cleaning service. Due to arm issues I cant brush my pool so after a ton of research I decided to purchase the Dolphin and it's the BEST DECISION! After just one cleaning my pool looks amazing. It's worth every penny! Highly recommend!

1 YEAR AFTER PURCHASE- Works as well as when it was new. Even climbs walls as well as new. No problems whatsoever. Very glad we also bought the cart for it, despite the price.Our experience with the Dolphin Premier pool robot has been excellent over the 2 months we’ve had it. (Mild climate. We use it in ‘winter’.) If you’re thinking of buying or wondering how best to use it, see the youtube video of 22 minutes by Rick Escalante. I viewed many. This is the one to watch. As he recommends, be sure to purchase the Maytronics universal caddy to store it and move it around. It isn’t cheap at $150, but it’s worth every penny.The filters being accessed from the bottom of the unit isn’t a problem. Because the water flow is up, through the machine, the filter placement is very effective, and the upward jet helps the unit keep better downward pressure for contact.The unit won’t eliminate all your labor – you still need to brush the steps and probably the corners if the pool is rectangular, as well as doing the pool tests of the water. (And I still use a net on a pole to remove the worst stuff on the bottom before starting the unit. We haven’t tried the leaf bag yet.) But you won’t be brushing the sides and bottom of the pool, and you won’t be vacuuming it by hand through the pool pump’s suction. My back greatly welcomes the change.The unit performs as advertised: it climbs walls without a problem, cleans the waterline (be sure to extend one of the float balls on the handle), doesn’t tangle the cord, and moves to cover our entire pool without a remote control (Gunite-concrete pool about 24’ x 16’; I can’t comment about larger pools).Our only potential concerns after 2 months of use: (1) service life long-term. I don’t know. (2) Several reviews by users comment on problems getting service under warranty. I don’t know. Buying a different robot from a local pool store would probably minimize this issue if they have servicing capability, but after thorough research we decided on the Dolphin Premier even though we bought it online (from an authorized seller through Amazon). The unit is that good. (3) I can imagine the propulsion tracks and climbing rings needing replacement in the future. I have no idea how long from now. But the numerous, informative servicing videos online at youtube and maytronics.com show this to be a do-able project.

I got a Premier because it is a well-established model, has rave reviews about it being the best performing, claims it can climb walls, and claims convenient multiple filter options.Many issues here. The filters load from the bottom, which is a pain to get to compared to top access models. It gave the impression that it can do large leaf bag as an easy option like the mess and premium filter. It also had no real documentation or troubleshooting guides in the box and was not much better online. You have to find 3rd party YouTube videos that talk about the issues and how to resolve them, assuming anyone bothered to do that.To use the large leaf bag you have to remove two screws and are guard to make it fit. This is not convenient and makes it a pain to switch and, therefore, means you either never use it or only use it and not the others, which IMO makes it worthless as an option. Especially when the normal filter cartridges can each hold a good number of leaves, just on a bad day, you may have to clean them twice.Next having to flip the robot upside down is a pain; it encourages scratches and adds extra steps that other models don't have.Then the biggest reason I chose this model was how highly recommended it was as being one of the original bots that climbs walks and can clean the water line. When it never climbed more than a foot up by walls and thereby never made it to the water line. Nothing I did fixed this; adjusting the stabilizers didn't change anything, plus adjusting them is a pain as they don't want to turn easily. Also, after contacting support which took many days for a response, they never suggested the stabilizers which I found out was a possible issue via YouTube videos and how to adjust them; nothing in their documents in the box or online talked about this, and their support didn't bring it up which was fine as I already ruled it out while waiting for them.I ended up returning this while I could get all my money back. I replaced it with a much newer model with the same warranty of 3 years which is the Dolphin Sigma. The Sigma worked out of the box flawlessly and started climbing walls and cleaning the water line really well. It top loads the filter cartridges, and best of all has an app for easy scheduling by day and time. The sad thing is the Sigma isn't really listed on their website, and you can only get it from Amazon or other online vendors. It is way better than one of their oldest and claimed to be one of the best performers and it will never come up if you use the help me choose a robot feature which is sad that they do not promote one of the best residential robots on their own site.

LO MALO- La "escalada de paredes" y la "limpieza de la línea de flotación" NO LA REALIZA y no es un producto barato para que no cumpla con todo las especificaciones que publica!.

The media could not be loaded.  El robot tiene dificultades para subir las paredes, no se si en próximas limpiezas se ajuste.

Muy caro por lo que no hace. Funciona bien en suelos y paredes pero... no es bueno con el polvo: una pequeña parte se recoge en los 4 microfiltros pero la mayoría es empujada hacia arriba, se mezcla nuevamente con el agua y queda fuera del alcance de la succión. El programa de limpieza finaliza mucho antes de que el polvo vuelva a depositarse en el fondo.
