These towels are just as described and of great quality. They are thick, soft and really big. They fit perfectly on a chaise lounge chair. They also seem to hold up to washing machine just fine.

I received these towels and immediately spoke to Amazon customer service and the owner of the company. They are posted as a company called Sabatakos, but had labels that stated Lucinda Minnell. I was assured this would be fixed and I was receiving a high quality product. Feeling them they felt super soft, a loose weave and quite delicate but since I was assured they are a quality towel I threw them in the wash, where they pretty much pulled, shed ton's of lint and assured me they where going back. I ordered the "Sabatakos" towels from Amazon's competive online retailer and received the same mislabeled product from the same warehouse, and returned them.After the hassle of all this I purchased 2 towels from the premium Turkish manufacturer (kassatex) sold at high end retailers (you can find them discounted online) and assure you the $10 extra dollar per towel I spent are well worth the investment as the quality is incomparable. the entire towel is a tighter weave, higher quality cotton, and heavier. My wife bought towels from the 2 two famous catalog retailers and even these wash better and feel sturdier.This is a caveat emptor review as after about a month it still lists these towels as Sabatakos and I see 2 5 star reviews and at least 1 other review that had the same issues as I had. Amazon and the vendor need to clarify what you are actually receiving.

I returned it because there was a huge snag/run in it. I think there needs to be some quality control before shipping. However, I will say that if not for the snag, I would have kept it. The towel is very large. Perfect beach towel and very soft. I think anybody who purchases this towel will be happy with it.

Not as thick as I thought for the price.

I wonder if the one-star reviewers received the same towels I did, because the towels I received are very impressive. They are (somewhat surprisingly) the THICKEST beach towels I've ever owned, not like typical "big box" store beach towels which are typically pretty thin. These towels did "pill" in the first two washes and my dryer's lint filter was crazy full, because there is so much material to them. The pilling goes away after a few washes, and the towels are still amazingly thick and soft.

I bought two of these towels and am very impressed with the quality. They are larger than most beach towels and extremely thick and absorbent. I've used them at the pool all summer and after all the laundering they still look brand new - no runny dye, fuzz or snagging.

Do not like writing poor reviews but the cost of these towels and the very poor quality made me feel like I should. I purchased 2 of these towels and as I would any new item I washed them right away, since they was new I just used cold water and a short cycle in the washer and dried them on a low setting in dryer. When I got them out I was shocked, snags throughout, runs like in nylon stocking the whole length of the towels. I am always hesitant when ordering things that have no reviews but after reading the advertisement they sounded wonderful, just the opposite. These were shipped through Amazon and was handled professionally on the return.
