We tried many different 'feet' for our wooden chairs to prevent marking up the wood floor, rubber didn't work well, felt collected all kinds of dust and scratched it too.These slide without marking at all. Now there are some in the family that think they slide too much and I agree that you need to be careful at times (standing on it, kids on knees leaning to reach) it can move when doing those things. But for using at dining table for sitting properly I think they are the best we've ever had. I really like them, they haven't left a mark on my wooden floor for any reason.

Domed furniture glides are hard to find for those slanted wooden chair legs. But Amazon had them!!

The guide did not improve the problem. I you as sitting in the chair it is almost impossible to move it with out getting up and moving the chair. It is particularly difficult to slide the chair up to the supper table. I would like to return the unopened packages.

We use these glides on the round wooden legs on the chairs in our kitchen. We have vinyl floor covering in the kitchen. They work well. Occasionally, they will split and need to be replaced.

We’ve been using these same size Waxman glides on our counter bar stools on the same tile floor for a number of years without any issues except they eventually flat spot then crack where the nail is embedded. We simply replace them and go another 6 months. They’ve always worked well. These we just ordered look the same and feel the same on the dome but simply will not slide on the floor. It’s almost like the nylon dome is a softer material and sticks to the floor. The chair legs are angled and need domed glides. We’ll look elsewhere.

These work great on our wooden chairs so they don't mar our laminate floor. They do wear down eventually so then I just replace them, but it takes years for them to wear down.
