Honeywell Dreamweaver Sleep Black – Personal Fan with Pink Noise – USB Charging Port and On/Off Airflow for Use in Any Season

This is the second one I've bought and it's perfect for sleeping to all year round. It's not overly noisy like some fans. Highly recommend it.

Keeps me cool at night and timer is convenient. Easy to work.

Just like a regular fan but not as good.

I find it a little unfair to be selling on Amazon uk as it is purposely made for American electrical values.To start with it came with no adapter for uk electrics and after purchasing one I now know why. I got my adapter plugged it in and pop the wattage of the fan is not compatible with the uk.As for returning I was quoted £75 for postage. So I guess I’m stuck with it. Very dissatisfying as I bought for my autistic child to help him sleep. It looked like it did everything I wanted it to do but sadly I will never find out If it would’ve helped him.

Wrong plug provided for UK customers. Checked with electricians and confirmed not compatible in the UK, hence sent back.

Very happy with the sound and fan combination. Great for people who like a steady sound and air movement while sleeping

Overall: I have slept with my DreamWeaver fan for three nights now, and feel that it is an excellent product. Specifically, I believe it is excellent as a sleep promoting noise machine (which was what I was looking for when I purchased). However, if you are looking for a fan to move a lot of air around your room, consider going elsewhere.Noise: The pink noise generated by the fan is amazing. I have slept with standard, small (~12") floor fans my entire life. Generally, these regular fans generate white noise. I now believe the pink noise is superior. The pink noise is less loud and harsh than white noise is. In my opinion it has a less machine-like quality. It works very well for drowning out other noises, but probably to a lesser degree than white noise does. When I weigh past experiences with my current DreamWeaver fan, I think the DreamWeaver strikes the perfect balance between drowning out other sounds, and producing a relaxing noise that promotes sleep.Airflow: As you can imagine from looking at the photos, the DreamWeaver fan can produce a relatively small (in diameter), but strong stream of airflow. It will not move air around as effectively as a standard floor fan of similar size. Closing the hatch does a great job of cutting off the air stream, but keeping the noise. However, closing the hatch does dampen the pink noise produced by the machine slightly.Controls: Frankly, the controls all work, but are a bit annoying. I want this fan for sleeping, so I want to be able to operate it in the dark. The touch-sensor technology for the fans on-off function and strength level (1-3) selection can be difficult to find in the dark. It's a bit annoying, and I'd rather have an on-off switch that I can feel without needing to see. However, dealing with this is well worth it, and is not enough to negate a positive review.

Despite being sold through the Amazon Australia site, this fan won't work in Australia. It is 110V, and won't work on Australia's 240V system.

I purchased this after my last one broke after having it 7 years. I had to get the sane exact one cause this fan makes 'pink' noise which is so much more soothing and makes a more well balanced, soft sound compared to other fans, sound apps, or sound machines. it has a 3 speed adjustable setting that you just tap on the top, you can close the vent on the side for the air to circulate out the top or not.great things come in small packages, I do travel with this fan but I wouldn't recommend taking it on a plane or placing in a suitcase.
