If you have sensitive teeth, this tooth whitening kit is not for you. It works well, but I'm unable to use it as its unbearable on my teeth. I've tried to use it twice, but lasted less than five minutes.

Works better than anything I've ever tried. My only complaint would be the sensitivity but other than that they are awesome

I have been wanting to whiten my teeth for awhile because they have gotten a slight yellow tint to them, but have always been afraid to because of all the warnings about it hurting people with sensitive gums and teeth. I've always had pretty sensitive gums. I'm actually doing a treatment now as I write this review. So far it looks like it is starting to take away the yellow tint even after just one 20 minute session. I'll do a few more and post photos once I get them all white and clean! Also, no pain! I was very careful to not overfill the mouth pieces so I didn't get any of the liquid on my gums and I also trimmed down the mouth pieces (a little too far down actually, oops!) so that it wouldn't press the whitening liquid against my gums and it's working! I'm very happy with that! :)As for the setup, you place the mouth pieces into hot, just boiled water to soften them up so that you can mold them to your teeth. I had a bit of a hard time doing this. I don't have the straightest teeth in the world and a kind of small mouth so I think that made this a bit difficult. I was able to get a mold of my top teeth after a couple of tries, but never could get a good mold of my bottom teeth. Couldn't get a good tight suction on it, and even using my fingers to press it onto my teeth would not result in a mold of my bottom teeth. Just was not happening for me. I made do with it though. After molding them the best I could, I went to trim them. This is the most difficult part of this if you don't have a pair of really sharp small scissors, which sadly I did not. I resorted to a pair of kitchen scissors and a x-acto knife to cut away the excess. First time ever doing this so it doesn't look perfect but it covers my teeth well enough to work. The rest of the process after getting it trimmed down is easy. Just place small drops of the whitening liquid on each tooth mold, place in your mouth, put the light over the mouth pieces (there is a small plastic piece you will need to remove from between the batteries in this or it won't turn on) and wait 20 minutes! :)Once I do a couple more treatments I'll post before and after photos. It seems to work well as far as whitening teeth, possibly not the easiest option though but I have not tried others. Took off a couple of stars because of the difficulty of trying to cut down a mouth piece and mold it.I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.Update:Day 2 of doing the whitening kit. I didn't want to do repeat sessions on the same day just in case my gums became sensitive to the gel. After my first treatment on Monday, I took a break Tuesday because the tiny part of my gums between my teeth was a little sore and a bit red. Not terrible at all, just sore. Like I had just flossed them too rough. Back to do a second session today since the soreness has gone away. This time since I didn't do the best job of cutting up the mouth pieces I'm using a q-tip to paint the gel onto my teeth and then placing the mouth piece on to keep my lips from getting in contact with the gel.Update:After 3 sessions I can definitely tell my teeth are whiter! It may be hard to tell in the photos but it's there. I'm very happy with the results and it's easy once you get it setup.

***SORRY FOR THE UGLY MOUTH PICTURES!*** lol Anyway, I was so excited to get this and I'm very glad I did! It made quite a difference in one 45min (the max) session and my teeth don't feel really sensitive or have any issues with gum irritation so I'm going to keep doing it! So, basically when you get the box you have to form the mouth pieces to your mouth which i thought was really fun actually, Then you have to cut the leftovers where it covers your gums so as not to cause irritation. That part was a little tedious but I guess I did okay because I had no irritation at all. Then you put a little of the whitening formula that comes in a syringe kind of tube into your mouth trays which was easy and put'em in your mouth! Pretty easy! EXCEPT! there are pictures of leaving the tabs on and off (the ones that you hold on your mouth guards). At first I left them on and held the little light they give you as close as I could and... drooled oh-so-attractively all over myself! lol So I clipped the tabs off while still in my mouth and the little light fit perfectly and I didn't have to hold onto it the whole time. 45 minutes later and i checked my results and I was surprised how well it worked especially on the bottom of my teeth! I am a smoker and a coffee drinker and I was very happy to see such good results. I'm sorry for the bad pictures but I really tried to show the difference. The lighting was poor in my bathroom but i swear, it really helped a lot! Can't wait to keep doing it! I have so much gell left I could probably do it for another few years! lolSTATEMENT: To those who don't trust reviews from people who get free or discounted products for being HONEST and UNBIASED, like me.... YOU CAN TOO! There is nothing wrong with getting a deal on something for being completely honest and for the company using your feedback to evolve and improve their product. This item arrived very quickly and I was anxious to give it a try! The instructions are very clear and helpful. It comes with two mouth molds (one upper and one lower), whitening gel, and a LED light. The trays are very easy to mold to your teeth and is all explained in the instructions. My first treatment I had to cut short because I wasn't prepared for the amount of slobber that was going to happen. I ended up holding a washcloth in my mouth between the mouth trays. My second try at it was much better. I could see a difference after only use but obviously it gets better the more you do it. I had not had dental insurance for the last year so I had to skip a 6 month cleaning and you can really see the difference in my before and after photos. This product worked great for at home whitening.
