It was time to go to the beach.Who doesn’t love going there? After eating lunch, the trash barrels are full. The wind came up & started o blow the trash all over the beach & into the ocean.Cray (crab) wasn’t happy at all.Hay (fox) & Fay (turtle) asked him what was wrong.Ray (gull) was flying overhead. What did Queen Mer May suggest to all of them?I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.An awesome book cover, great hand drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary, MS age) environment storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (environment), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author(s); BookSends; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

G Pa is a master at telling a story through rhyme! Fantastic job!
Cray Saves the Day shows that G Pa is a master at using rhyme to tell a meaningful story. In this story G Pa has created four characters who exemplify the true meaning of being a friend. They are Cray the crab (the main character), Hay the fox, Fay the turtle, and Gull Ray the seagull. When Fay gets into a bind, her friends come to help her. Also, with the help of Mer May, a mermaid friend, they embark on a journey to send a very important message to the reader which all people and creatures can benefit from. The characters are very lovable and the illustrations are beautiful, colorful and drawn from different “view” points. I love the first two pages and another in the story that are scene from a birds-eye view. G Pa has told a very interesting story with important messages, and he has told it in rhyme. Fantastic job!

BEACHY CLEAN
Cray the Crawfish is observing humans coming to the shore on a sunny day. He notices the trash they leave behind. Soon some of his fellow creatures are in trouble.Cray mobilizes his friends to help, while enlisting the organizational skills of a mermaid. Maybe one day humans will learn environmental awareness from Cray and his sea friends. The book teaches preschoolers and primary grade readers about environmental hazards and the need to clean them up. A suggestion list on how kids can help is provided at the end of this picture book written in rhyme.

The Next Episode!!!
Gg-Gg-Gg Gg G PA RHYMES! Great new lesson in the adventures of Cray! Love the art work and the new characters and of course, the message. I grew up on the beach and there’s nothing more depressing than seeing trash at the high tide mark-trash in the water-animals in pain. I remember learning at a young age to cut up the plastic rings from canned drinks and I still do it impulsively. I’ll be gifting this to couple little ones in a couple weeks for Xmas. I can’t wait to read it to them. Cray has a posse! Teamwork makes the dream work! Well done!

The formatting is so bad!
My 8-year-old and I tried to read this book. It doesn't let you go landscape. It's only portrait. And the words are too small to read. And you have to scroll so far in that you can't even see the wonderful illustrations. It's too labor intensive to read this book.

Beautifully written and illustrated!
This is the second amazing book from talented author, G Pa Rhymes! Both "A New Day for Cray" and "Cray Saves the Day" are written with catchy prose and moral lessons for kids of all ages. Cray's "Adventures on the Bay" are high quality and beautiful, in both message and illustrations. Kid's love the stories and adults appreciate the lessons shared. I highly recommend both books, and look forward to finding out what happens to Cray next! Keep them coming, G Pa Rhymes!

Meaningful, colourful and teachable!
A well-needed story, beautifully written and colourful, and perfect for teaching children the importance of cleaning up after themselves, not only on the beach, but everywhere, and explaining the reason why it is so necessary.I loved the cute characters, and how they helped each other.

Lovely message and story
I love books about clearing up litter. It’s something that young kids seem to naturally enjoy so it’s great to see it represented in a positive way in a story book. Nice seeing the animals all working together too.
