I bought a refurbished version which I am glad to say had no obvious cosmetic flaws
I am an Artist/Illustrator with lower back problems, consequently I cannot sit or stand for long periods of time and have been looking for a drawing board solution that is versatile and can alternate between both. I decided to take a chance on this board despite the one semi positive review it had. I bought a refurbished version which I am glad to say had no obvious cosmetic flaws. It was a joy to be able to stand and draw as well as switch to sitting when I needed a rest. The construction of this item is sturdy, made of strong plywood, no fillers such as particle board are present. It was the perfect solution to my needs. I just purchased another one for my office and can’t wait untilIt gets here. The design is simple, elegant and well executed. Give it a try, oh and lifting it into position is a two handed job, but it is easy enough to do.

extremely awkward to close, needs another iteration in design phase
The little standing stems should be connected to eachother by a brace... Without that it is difficult to close this item... It takes both hands and forarms and legs, bc you've got to get both little leggy things up at the same time but the thing is wide etc etc. If you could grab them both at once by way of a crossbar it would make this a viable product. I wont return it but, I will be modifying the product and this will be an annoying task.
