"I love you." "I know."
Bought this when it was on sale, so I basically paid $5/mini-fig....which is a NO BRAINER. Star Wars mini-figs are always worth at least $5/each.That said, here's my issues:1) No Chewbecca, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2, Lando, Lobot, Darth Vader or Storm Troopers. All of those characters played a much larger role in Han getting put into a carbon freeze.2) Why is Kylo Ren on this box? He wasn't in IV, V or VI....so why is he on this box? #Fail3) It's been a while since we've seen any sets from Empire Strikes Back that aren't centered on Hoth. Where's a Degobah set? A larger Cloud City set (yes, they've made one before, but another one would be nice)? How about the twin pod cloud car? How about the whole "I am your Father" scene??? Or even better, the Medical Frigate!? Come on Lego....make it happen! All that said, it's a Star Wars Lego set. Go ahead and buy it.Buy it, build it, LOVE IT!

LEGOS AND STARWARS
We have been buying Legos for a lot of years = my little boy is now 48 years old! This particular purchase was for our great grandson who is 8 years old. He saw the package after he unwrapped the gift. Of course, we went to the head of the group of gift givers. Our great grandson loved the gift, and we just buy more and more Legos for him. I liked purchasing from Avalon. If you did gift wrapping, I would have sent it direct! I like Amazon since I don't have to drive anywhere, selection is good, price is fair, and what more do you want?

No more 50$ Boba Fetts off Ebay!
10/10 Collectors7/10 PlayFor collectors, this is a solid buy for a few reasons - the main one being Boba and Carbonite Han v3 (which counts as a minifig now) are both exclusive to LEGO Star Wars Slave I Toy - a 200$ set. It's also the exclusive Ugnaut, which would fit a nice 2000$ lego set: LEGO Star Wars: Cloud City If you're just buying this for the minifigs, the parts used for the stage area include rares like the single-stud Ice Planet Orange transparent caps, and lots of them. For play, the set feels small, but contains a few fun things to set up a small scene area. When I show it to people they most often ask where the other half is.

Boba Fett at his best
I'm a big Boba Fett fan. At last, there is a chance to purchase a Cloud City themed original series set. It is small, but it offers some nice minifigs in addition to an important setup from The Empire Strikes Back. Most children should find this fairly easy to assemble. The Carbonite Chamber functions are done with some technic parts that allow the user to simulate lowering and raising someone into the chamber and having them emerging "frozen" in a cast. It does seem somewhat limited as a stand alone set, which makes me hope that some other Cloud City sets could be made to augment this in the same way that Jabba's Palace had an expansion. The minifigs are good. You have a version of Han Solo based on the moment of his freezing. He can be placed in the back of a molded "cast" of him to simulate him frozen in place. There is a chance to have Boba Fett without paying a huge amount for him in the big Slave 1 set :-). Also, you have an Ugnaught, which is only seen in this set.

Box was damaged
This was a birthday gift for my grandson. The Lego box was previously opened and taped shut and damaged on the outside which did not make a good presentation for a gift

A must for all collectors
This is both an incredibly fun build and, for the cost, an amazing value. It uses relatively few pieces but looks impressive, and even if the described build and action features are a bit of a letdown, this set offers great potential. I actually ended up purchasing a second and combined them for a much larger scene, complete with two ugnauts and my own design of elevator. This is also a cheap way to get an awesome Boba Fett figure that's nearly UCS quality. Buy it while it's on sale and enjoy!

10 yr Old Daughter LOVED it
It is legos and Star Wars, what could go wrong? Other than crappy quality, missing parts, delayed delivery. I am glad to say none of that is a problem. Ordered for my daughters Birthday. Best part was the Boba Fett figure. She is a HUGE fan. She built it the day she got it within an hour. She just turned 10. She has only done one Lego set in the past and she got through this without much drama! She loved it and has rebuilt it twice.
