Cuts amazing, i was able to cut a 1 inch solid pipe, blows through thinner metal with ease, you can write your name with this thing.

Giving 4 stars because it will not run on anything less than 220v. The cooling fan causes the unit to consume more than 20 amps. However if you give it the correct amount of power this thing will blow though nearly anything with ease.

I bought this plasma cutter to temporarily replace a hypertherm unit that had a failed circuit board and after using it I’ve decided not to bother spending the $600 that hypertherm wanted to replace the circuit board. This unit cost half the price of a replacement board and 1/10th the cost to replace the whole machine and I really can’t see a difference in the performance of the two. Very happy with this unit and will see how it holds up over time.

My machine after I tracked it down due to UPS delivering it almost 5 houses down works great. It only came with 1 set of consumables. The pictures and product details say 3 sets. Secondly the ground clamp stinger doesn't fit inside the cutter. I tracked this issue down to it being about half an inch longer than my other amico electric stingers. So I cut half an inch off of the end and it fits like it's supposed to and gets a great ground connection. The cutter itself held up pretty good cutting most things I needed cut. I don't have anything thicker than 3/4 so I can't see if that's all it will cut or if it will even cut that much. The built in air regulator helps a ton as my air compressor is old and doesn't have one. I like amico welding machines and I like their plasma cutter. But I feel like the quality between my welding machine and this are on 2 completely different levels. This one kind of ticked me off about all the stuff I had to buy after it said it would arrive with it. And it also wasn't fun having to either fix the ground stinger or send it back and wait to get another one. I don't like waiting. I'm still gonna buy amico products but now I will be a little skeptical about what all arrives with it.

Machine worked great for 2, 1/2 years with heavy use. The arc board cracked and I thought I could order a replacement part. Made multiple phone calls and sent emails with pictures and videos of the problem. A week later I got a response asking if I would call their tech support, which I did again. They said they were out to lunch and they would call me back. 2 weeks later no response. So I bought another unit for $279. It arrived in 5 days from California, I live in Pennsylvania. Still a great value even if it only lasts for 2 years of heavy use.

Dont like that consumables are not typical. Cant got them at local weld supply. I have had for 3 years i use it often, it has held up well.

Keeps up well just fine even maxed out, air adjustment is iffy, very easy to pop the line off when adjusting (whole thing will spin and catch the fitting) and you have to take it apart to put the air line back in the fitting. Goes through tips FAST if youre not just cutting flat
