I just received this watch and haven't been able to download the software. If I can't get the app downloaded, then this will have to go back. Very disappointing! This should not be difficult.

Nice Pedometer for Swimming
The MetroFlash Azure Water Resistant Swim Watch is similar to a "pedometer", only instead of tracking how many steps you take, the Azure measures how many strokes you take. The watch arrived well packaged in a nice box suitable for gift giving to the swimmers in your life. The watch is made to wear while swimming laps. An app is available to keep the history of your swimming, calories burned, etc. I first scanned the QR code on the box the watch had arrived in, but the app that downloaded wasn't the right app. It had nothing to do with swimming. I had a little trouble finding the app in the Apple App store, but eventually found it. It's the Azure+ Creative Application. The watch has many great features and is user friendly. Charge the watch with the USB charging cable (included) and once fully charged you're ready to go. The watch has an LED watch display and can be worn as a watch. It also has an alarm. You can set goals to achieve (i.e. number of laps swam, number of calories burned, etc.) and the display will show you the percentage of the goal achievement. The display also shows the total exercise time during the day, total number of stroked recorded and the estimated calories burned during swimming. The watch keeps track of your swimming history, up to 99 entries. The app on your smart phone will store this data indefinitely if synced with the watch. The watch has an auto start mode, which is what I use. Simply push a button, the word "READY" flashes on the LED screen, the watch vibrates and you're ready to swim. The watch automatically starts tracking when you begin swimming. The watch automatically detects when you have begun a new lap at starts the timing over for each lap.Once you're finished swimming, connect the watch to your smartphone using the included cord and your workout will sync to the app. If you want, you can even share your progress on Facebook or other social networks through the app.I really like this product. When working out, I am more likely to work out longer if I have a visual goal to reach. I like that I can look at the history and see if my time is improving. What I didn't like and the reason for the four star review is because of two things. First, the charging/syncing cable is magnetic on the end that attaches to the watch. It doesn't stay attached well and every time I would touch the cable or the watch, the cable falls off the watch. I wish it were a micro USB port on the watch. Second, there were a few times when I was swimming that the watch didn't sense that I had reached the end of the pool, switched directions and started a new lap. It kept timing as if I were on the last lap. This may be because I'm not a real strong swimmer and when I do change directions it's not a big, dramatic motion. This being said, the laps can be manually recorded as well, simply by pressing a button each time you begin a new lap. That would eliminate the problem of the watch not detecting when I begin a new lap.Overall, it's a good product and I recommend it. I'm actually surprised that it's currently only priced at $64.95 on Amazon. I would expect to pay a lot more for a gadget like this.I received the MetroFlash Azure Water Resistant Swim Watch in exchange for my honest, unbiased review, which I have given to assist other buyers in making informed purchasing decisions. If you have questions about this product or review, please comment and I'll answer it to the best of my ability.

The Fish Can Officially See What Time It Is!
My wife was excited to try out a swim watch, since she is a big swimmer, and having a swim watch would add the convenience of always knowing the time (since it is waterproof) as well as tracking how many laps she had done. I received this watch very quickly, and the box it came in was nice and professional. Upon taking it out of the box, it seemed like an OK watch - nothing super fancy, but it isn't really supposed to be fancy.I initially had kind of a hard time getting the watch to turn on and thought the one I received was defective. After holding the correct button down for 5+ seconds, the watch finally came to life, much to my delight. The instructions say to charge it fully before its first use, so that's what I did. The charger is magnetic, and it is VERY finicky and easily detaches from the watch if it gets moved. It is kind of annoying, but I assume it is designed like this to keep it waterproof I wish a micro hdmi design was possible, however. After the watch was fully charged, it was time to try to figure out how to get it set up. You really have to read the manual/instructions, because it is all done via the Azure+ app, which isn't super easy to find in the app store. It took quite a few tries for the app to find the watch, but eventually they did find each other, and the setup process began, all through the app. The app isn't terrible, but it wasn't exactly SUPER user friendly and lagged from field to field and screen to screen. After getting through all of the screens, like magic, all of a sudden, the watch was set up, the time was automagically set, and I was ready to go! So, that was pretty cool in the end. There are a lot of features that the watch has, including an alarm, a backlight, a lap counter - both automatic and manual - a calorie burn counter, etc... My wife used the automatic lap counter to track her workout, and so far, she hasn't had any issues with it. A couple of times, she had to tell the watch to change to a new lap manually as it continued to think she was on the same lap when she wasn't. This didn't happen very often, however, and even when it did, it wasn't a big deal. We've gotten about 3 weeks worth of battery life out of the watch before it needs to be recharged, which isn't bad at all. If we aren't swimming, the battery life lasts even longer. As a regular watch, it can probably go as long as a month, I would guess.Overall, this is a good swim watch. It is waterproof, tracks laps, and counts calories burned, which my wife really likes. The only downsides are the semi-clunky app, which can easily get better as they release new versions, and the charger, which is a little finicky to use. For the price, compared to other swim watches, this seems like a great watch to try out if you're in the market for a swim watch.Who has two thumbs with one and three quarters up in the air?
