Not slotted like they said they are and one of the two clamps locking mechanism doesn't work and won't close.

These are nice big and sturdy but the surface of the clamp that would be on the skin has sharp edges that would be good for holding cloth or something but it too sharp to use on skin. Still nice sturdy Perry color clamp, but not a piercing clamp.

Not slotted as described. Be cautious if you are ordering specifically for the gap in them.

I bought these to do a piercing, they are very well made and not cheap at all. although, the not slip advantage is super uncomfortable. i wasn’t even able to clamp all the way since the grooves were so sharp.

Works great, and most woman like how it looks.
