I bought 3, 2 of the short ones and 1 of the long ones (wich are same as short ones because they came 2 short ones plugged together) and after 3 days of installation outdoors they were looking awesomebut then one of the short ones stopped working and also a lot of the small bulb lights retained water or moisture making looks ugly the light bulbs (and probably the faliure's reason, so I asked for an exchange for a same new one and I just finish reinstall it, Also they are extremely hard to get them set up in the App having hard time to sync the ligths with the App and wifi, I will keep them only if they doesn't fail again, if so then I'll ask Amazon for a full refund and also I'll edit this review.+++UPDATE+++Finally I retuned them because the water or humidity continued to filter into the bulbs and the also the hard time continued to synchronize them with the app - wifi.

So I have made it my mission to make everything in the house Alexa enabled. These lights worked great after finding the proper app to use! If you buy these with the intent to use them with Alexa, don't even bother with the Xodo Smart app the instructions say to use. Just download Smart Life and link it to your Alexa under skills and you will have voice control with them! Might even use them for other things, but for now we used them over the Christmas holiday on our tree. They looked great and had nice effects. We did use some Hygloss Products White Styrofoam Balls to make some of the lights pop with color.

We bought 2 of the large strings. We didn’t have any issue getting the lights to pair with their app or with Alexa. The movement to sound requires that the app be open and either 1) the phone plays music or 2) the phone is near a speaker. That means that I cannot play Spotify through Alexa AND have it respond to music as the music screen on the app overrides.We worked around this by downloading the app onto an old phone we use as a “tablet” and setting it by the Alexa when we want to use that feature. Otherwise we really have enjoyed this product.

These are beautiful indoor but if you choose to put them outdoors you might find that the button stops working and they disconnect from the app but it functional overall

Would have liked a longer strand instead of several shorter ones

I really liked the dimming capability of these lights. In early morning hours i like very dim bulb illumination, but during the sunny daytime, we need a brighter appearance. These bulbs performed very well in all situations!They look more like old-fashioned light bulbs, sort of like candles, which is Far better looking than the little round bulbs from many other manufacturers. This looks more like the Christmas Tree lights from my past, which is what i was looking for!I realize that it is hard to get a true yellow or white color with RGB LED bulbs, but they made a decent effort with what they could do.

Looking at the higher end smart lights this set dose a few functions that are good also can play along with music can be controlled by the smart phone music needs the mic on your phone to work a nice addition yo my smart devices for the price

The media could not be loaded.  These lights are great. The app is easy to use and there are a few good options for effects. The timer is great so I can have it automatically turn on so I can see it on my way home from work and it'll turn off after I go to bed. 2 sets of the larger lights was perfect for the front of my house. Super great!

The lights are beautiful and the app works really well - we are able to change the display as we add more decorations to the front yard emphasising the new addition. Love them

The inside of the bulbs rusted on this product. I sent two emails to the email address on their warranty card, within the warranty period and received no reply from this vendor

This product works great, but the wifi transmitters are very unreliable. Reached out to XODO and so far no response. Disappointed on service and product for the cost these should be much more relaible.

Super bonne qualité de lumière mais le wifi n'est vraiment pas puissant, les lumières sont sur ma terrasse et mon antenne wifi est dans mon salon et les lumières wifi ne le capte pas.
