I just got allergies for the first time & I was in really pbad shape. Ordered this right away hoping it would clean the air. It did just what it was supposed to do. Very easy to operate & change filters.

I did not open these product until I needed 2 weeks ago when it was smokey. I did buy it a year ago but it does not work the fan never turns on and the manufacturer will not honor fixing it. I have all the packing and it is never been out of the box until now. Can Amazon fix this problem.

Don’t bother buying unless you plan on throwing away once filter is dirty - no replacement filters are available. Amazon shouldn’t be selling.

The WBM HEPA filter air purifier system arrived quickly and has been a great performer ever since!We use this air purifier in our bedroom where our three little dogs like to sleep with us. The littlest one doesn't like to go the extra yard at night, so we have a pee pad rug that sits by the far wall for her to use. It is designed to hold pee and it does a good job. We wash it every 3 - 4 days, however, I used to smell that thing whenever I would walk into the room or lay down at night. Sometimes in warmer humid weather it would affect my breathing slightly.Since we picked up the WBM HEPA filter air purifier, I have noticed a remarkable difference in the quality of the air in our bedroom. It smells fresh and the pee scent, for the most part, is gone. The air purifier has done a noticeable difference so far in cleaning up the air for us in the bedroom.The WBM air purifier has three speeds each of which you can hear with high being loud enough that it sounds like sleeping with a fan in the window. The night time mode is very tolerable and honestly, I am typing from across the room right now and cannot even hear it. The only time we used it on high was on the day when we first set it up to really give it a work out. Since then we run it 24/7 in night mode, where it blends in nicely with the ambient sounds of our home.There is even a blue LED night light ring with two intensity settings on the top of the unit. The blue light works perfect for providing just enough light in a non blinding way to illuminate the path in to the bathroom at night. No more stumbling for me or bumping into things for me! : )Filter change out is a snap with the quick lock / unlock bottom that lifts off for easy cleaning and or replacement; no tools required. The filter has a built in strap to pull it out and does look washable, but I have not tested that out just yet.Overall, a fantastic airflow designed HEPA air purifier that is not only effective at cleaning smells and contaminants from the air but also very modern and stylish looking in white! This air purifier comes through a big winner for us, I just hope that replacement filters will be readily available when the time comes.I can hardly wait to see how it does with my springtime allergies. I will be sure to update in the spring when I can give it the true pollen test. My seasonal allergies can get severe at times without air purification so I am looking forward to seeing how well the WBM performs during allergy season and will be sure to post an update then!

UPDATE: Search for economical Levoit lv-h132 replacement filters. They fit this purifier just right and are widely available in two packs for much less than the WBM filter. There are generic versions of that 7.5 x 2.4" filter available.I like how quiet this WBM air filter is when running on high. It's nearly silent on low but I use it on high since I like a little white noise when sleeping. It's easy to open the bottom to replace the filter although I haven't been able to find replacements.There's a blue LED ring that looks cool and can be turned on or off or on lower brightness for use as a night light.The filter works well for an office and while I have no scientific proof of it working, I don't have a stuffy nose at the end of the day when it's filtering the office air. There is currently a fog of dandelion in the air so without a filter I would not be able to breath so easily.This WBM filter is a fairly new product so I can't find replacement filters for it. Fortunately, they are simple round filters so it's likely the same size is available in some other model. This purifier is also for sale in some of the big box stores which offers promise for cheap replacement filter media. When it does come time to change the filter the operation is simple enough.This air purifier pulls air from the bottom and blows it upward.Sadly, when power is interrupted to the purifier it does not resume operation. That means my ultimate goal of having an Alexa controller plug create a schedule will not work.

Don't buy once the air filter needs replaced you can't find anywhere

I am a bit disappointed in this unit, I was hoping it would be more powerful. We have a large open living, kitchen and dining and I have one larger air purifier unit in the living area and my plan was to use this in the kitchen, to really get good air purification and circulation throughout the entire space. It's too small to really do much in the space. It may do better in a small bedroom or our large bath. I'm also on the fence about having the unit blowing up, it has only a small area on the very bottom that sucks the air in. I think I prefer the units that blow from the side. This unit has 3 speeds and none are very strong, so it's fairly quiet. It also seems to be decently well made and it doesn't take up much space. This is the 3rd purifier I've tried and it is my least favorite. I also thought this would actually be smart, as the name suggests, and connect via WiFi but seems not. For just a little more money you can get a much better unit. I would not personally recommend.

The media could not be loaded. From what I can tell, the filter on this thing is a HEPA and charcoal hybrid, but I didn't take the filter apart to confirm.It's simple to set up - the only thing you have to do is unscrew the bottom, remove and unwrap the filter, replace the filter and screw it back together.Operational modes are simple too - see the video for a demonstration.I did find it to be a little noisy on the high-flow setting, which is similar to the issue I have with another brand's air filter, and the clear-on-white lettering on the top panel was very hard to read without the blue 'night light' feature on (again, see video).It does work well for a small space. We have it in a 9x13 home office.
