We bought these for our child care center and our children absolutely love them! I had to buy more sets because it was such a high interest item for our kids!

The pieces were much smaller than what you are lead to believe from the pictures on Amazon but nicely painted and solid wood. Description on Amazon says this product is for 24 month/2 years of age and up but when I got this product, the box it came in actually said for ages 3+. A little deceiving. I have a grandson that just turned 2 that I want to give this to him for a belated birthday present but I think I will wait until he is 3.

I love puzzles and so does my family. But when I opened this just to try it out before giving it to a grandchild, I couldn't stop playing with it myself and wound-up ordering two more for gifts! It is compellingly fun, frustratingly challenging, excruciatingly compulsive and terrifically gratifying! So much so, that I don't want to touch my little sculpture and let it stand to admire it for days. Of course, it took me a while to understand that with little ones, you ignore the rocking base and just build from a table top! It is a game suitable for simple dinosaur play, to complex balance, physics and dexterity. Thus, I am keeping a couple of extra animal balance games to give away to friends and family as a good gift anyone will enjoy! They are reasonably priced and wonderfully designed to maximize building! LOVE IT!

Dino stack gameWe received this item as a birthday gift for my four year old. We pulled it out of the box and fell in love with the fun colors and amazing shapes! We started working the puzzle in accordance with the directions on the box. We made it a great way in and then realized one of our pieces wouldn’t fit how it was supposed to. I emailed the company from the slip inside the box and told them my dilemma and they sprung into action. That night I had an email from them saying they were sending a replacement, not even just the right piece, but a whole new game, and it was expedited. We got the game two days later and it went right up as described. Once we had our confidence going, we started trying other ways to put it together. I see this being a fan favorite for a long time. Not only is the game wonderful, fun, and bright, but the service team attaches is amazing as well. Thanks for everything!

A little smaller than I thought but still works the same and helps with fine motor skills as well. My son also loves using tongs to carry the dinosaurs and plays hide the dino with them;) Lots of fun beyond stacking.
