I was so excited when the boots arrived yesterday. Didn't wait too long 5 days I think. I have been dying for a pair of combat boots and these ones were a great price. The boots themselves are light weight which i was excited about. I've tried on others and they were pretty heavy. There are two buckles on the back of the boot which can be unbuckled but of course are just meant for decoration. There are also two zippers. One is functional to get your foot in and the other is for decoration. This extra zipper is stitched right below zipper pull so be careful not to try to actually use this zipper. Now on the fit. I was a little worried with the size I choose and I'm a stubborn fool so if it would have been small I probably would have worn them anyway ;) My feet are two different sizes. The right is just barely bigger than my left so when I tried on the right boot I was thinking oh no I should have gotten a 7 1/2. But then I tried on the left and it was fine.I have wide feet, not mega wide where I need to buy the "wide" shoes but I was happy to be able to comfortably move my feet around on the inside. Because I purchased the 7 and not the 7 1/2 I know i'm going to fine with the breaking in stage. If I get shoes that are slightly bigger I tend to get blisters cause my foot slips around. Lastly the height of the boot. I'm 5 feet tall the boot goes almost mid calf. I am also a runner and my calves are on the muscular side. The boot is not tight at all. There is an inch gab between the boot and my calf when I am up right.Over all I love these boots already.Pros:Stylish and light can't give an opinion on the wear and tear but as long as the bottom isn't coming off I'm all about the dirty apocalyptic deterioration of boots :DVery roomy on the insideCons: Might be slightly small I can't say to buy a size up cause then it might be too big its up to youThey have a very strong smell once they are pulled out of the box. It lasted about an hour and now the smell is gone. Its a mixture of new shoe, box and something else maybe plastic?

These boots are adorable! I usually wear a size 8.5 or 9, so I ordered them in 9 just to be safe and they fit perfectly. They are already comfortable and will be ever better when I work them in. Packaging was great and they came with some dust shields, so that's a plus! My only disappointment is that they do not fit to my ankle and leg. If you have thin legs and ankles, they likely won't be snug on you either, but you can tighten the laces a bit, which helps.

Was excited when I first took them out of the box. Tried them on right away, they felt comfortable at first, but when I kept wearing them I realized this changed.Pros:-Look really simplistic and nice. Exactly as pictured.-Easy to match with outfits.-Zipper makes it easy to put on and take off.-Smooth inside.-Nice-quality materials, but poor build.Cons:-Upon touching boots when taken out of the box, the strip of leather on one of the buckles fell off. First disappointment.-Nice material, but poor build.-Seemed comfortable at first when trying them on, but after wearing them a few days, I realized the heel part has two layers of the leather material. This makes it stiff, while the upper part of the boot is one layer, and much more flexible. This causes blisters for me since the heel rubs a bit on this "corner" of stiff to soft leather.I really thought they look pretty neat. Not very comfortable in the long run. Not sure how long they will last...but my last pair of shoes were North Face brand, and I wore large holes in the bottoms of both heels, and the part at my toes torn open. Really needed new shoes, and these seem to have held up so far. I guess if I wear these shoes and break them in enough, they will feel okay, but that will probably make the shoes lose their crisp clean structure. :(Already got some wrinkles in the leather. Being an equestrian, I found these shoes to look much like my old black zip up Ariat boots riding (which also kind of hurt my feet). These shoes look really neat though.

This is my second pair of these boots, first ones lasted me over 3 years. I've worn these on long walks, to class, downtown and all over. They're cute, comfortable and just the right amount of bad*ss. I always get a lot of compliments when I wear these and I can't wait to get a few more years out of this pair. The only thing I don't like is they're not as tight in the shaft as I'd like so even when you pull the laces tight it's still a bit loose in the tall part of the boot. But, overall these are comfy and a great price for a great combat boot!

I got these for my daughter as she writes and makes appearances for a large mall company. She is 27 and very tiny....her feet never got bigger than children's size 3/or the occaisional adult 5. Finding footwear that fits, is extremely comfortable, is in style and doesn't look childlike, can be difficult. She loves these boots and since they run small a 5.5 was the perfect fit. They fit so well and are so comfortable that she didn't even want a foot pad! The quality is a lot better than I expected based on the price....these will last. Look great with a lot of different outfits, since "militay look" is so "in" right now. She has spent 10+ hours, for certain mall events and her feet don't hurt at the end of the day. Lots of compliments. I recommend these boots to any one, just remember to order 1/2 size up, and if you want to wear with a thick heavier sock, I would probably order a whole size up. Plan on getting her additional color and a pair for myself!

Boots fit great and are comfortable but make sure you order the correct size as they will not take back or respond to several requests to return a pair i had bought 1/2 size too small a month before

Stylish, and super comfortable. I like zipping them up, but leaving the laces undone for a cool look.

Thanks to lots of answers do my question I purchased these boots despite having very wide feet. They are snug but stretching out every day and I love them!
