I have been searching and trying humidifiers, to find the quality and features I’ve been looking for. FINALLY I found in it in this HuPro Humidifer/Warm & Cool Pro-773 model!!!!Here’s why:1)- I love the built-in intelligence that regulates the humidity so that it’s not too much or too little (big deal, too avoid mold, or so little that it’s not giving the benefits needed from the humidity)!2)- The large tank makes it so you get a large amount of humidity production before you have to refill the water tank! If you live in the desert and you’re using it as lifestyle in daily use, that’s a BIG deal (not having to change it continually during a day)!3)- the ionic feature is a significant feature for the purification of breathing high quality air! I notice a big difference!!!4)- I LOVE that the large filter is designed to be permanent (they show you how in instructions, very simple).5)- This machine is a top tier regal humidifier, with quality and attention to all the important details!!! THANK YOU HUPRO!6)- I love the ability to chose the warm or cool humidity so easily with the remote control! It really makes a difference in the feel of the air. In the winter it feels cozier with the warm mist and makes it so my thermostat isn’t triggering the heater to come on as often, saving money on the heating bill! And I love that the humidifier has an energy saving ability in it’s operation design!7)- I am amazed at the difference in my skin smoothness, the quality of my breathing, and how much my plants have transformed to a professional thriving look of beauty! So imperative for being Covid preventive, or healing if you do get Covid! Every winter my throat would get so dry and scratchy and my sinuses would feel so comprised and vulnerable to the dryness. This humidifier has created a complete transformation! I look and feel so much younger! Not a little bit, but significantly so!8)- I’m impressed with how integral this company is in backing up their product! It’s very telling of the confidence they have with the quality and integrity they’ve put into the production and development of this humidifier!!!9)- Can I tell you how convenient the remote controller is? Again, when you’re using this as a daily lifestyle, it’s a huge time saver and convenience!10)- I’m an artist and designer, and was thrilled with the look of this humidifier! Not only is it slick and timeless, it fits into the design of my home seamlessly. Being an interior designer,I can confidently say the design of this humidifier will fit into any style of home!11)- My comments may be imbued with lots of passion, but that’s because I have tried SO MANY humidifier and been searching so long (such a hassle!), that to finally find the gold egg makes me THRILLED!!!! Truly!!!12)- I feel the company landed a sweet spot with their price point. Again, it’s very telling of the intelligence and backing to what makes this company successful! The kind of success that lasts a long time!!!THANK YOU HuPro!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall this humidifier works OK, It's seems reasonably accurate at maintaining a set RH. The key is to make sure air circulates in the room the the desired RH is not local to the unit.The only issue I have is that because the tank is filled from the bottom, you have to remove it from the base. When you do this, water dribbles ( runs ) all over the place.Where I am in Colorado, I seem to get about a day and a half a tank to maintain 50% RH using the #2 setting ( has 1, 2 , 3 for mist strength ) in a 12x14ft room. This augments my whole house humidifier which seems to only be able to get things up to 35% or so.I am using regular tap water ( in my location the water is not very hard ). I do not notice any of the dust associated with ultrasonic humidifiers.Now to see how long it lasts.Update:Lasted just long enough to be out of return window.The hygrometer stopped working reliably. I compare it to two higher quality ones I have. The two good ones are within 2% of each other, the humidify is off 15 to 20%. I try to keep the room at 50%, worked OK for a few weeks, then the humidifier started reading lower and lower. I would just offset the humidifier from what I really want, but it's not consistent.The water level switch stopped working as well, sometimes the level can run all the way down, something the unit turns off with plenty of water left.Searching for something better, this one goes in the trash when I find it.

I was hesitant to spend this much on a humidifier. Having used it I can honestly say I would be willing to pay even more. The vapor is incredibly fine...cooling, hydrating, but no residue. Multiple settings to help you custom set but also a default setting which worked perfectly for an overnight session. I had this directly next to my pillow and heard nothing..totally silent. I have what amounts to a bad head cold. Prior to using this I spent the night coughing, congested and sleepless. Using this calmed all this down. Slept well, woke up headache (congestion) free. I don't write over the top reviews but I am writing one now. Assuming it holds up and I have no reason to think otherwise, it is sturdy and well built, I would highly recommend this product.Follow up: The unit developed a small problem with the control panel. I sent an email to the company and not only had an in depth response from a named person, within hours, I had a new unit on the way the same day. You cannot top customer service like that. Another 5 stars.

Have had it only for a few days but it works well. Was able to set humidity level, time, and output. Was easy to setup and operate. When the set humidity level is reached, the machine turns off and will turn on again automatically when that humidity level drops. We primarily use the warm mist function. The warm mist is not particularly warm and I can't tell any difference between it and the cool mist feature. The water container is also quite dark so it's hard to see the water level. Tried using it with a smart timer but it doesn't work with it so have to use the HuPro's built-in timer function instead, which you can set to a duration of x number of hours. BTW, we use filtered water in it and so far have seen no white dust.

This humidifier looks really sleek in our bedroom, and it is SO QUIET too! It has a huge tank, and so you don't have to fill it up as often as other ones. I thought the remote control was going to be gimmicy, but it is actually really useful and easy to use. The instructions in the box were very simple to follow, and it's super easy to set up and get going. The display on it shows all kinds of information (humidity of course), and you can hit one button (sleep button) on the remote to turn off the display so it doesn't glow at night. Overall we are loving this humidifier!
