The WEDGiTS™ Deluxe set includes thirty-five pieces of building blocks using square, rhombus style components that stack into pyramids and nest completely together as one, large diamond. Additionally, this Deluxe set has two expansion bars for creating tall structures and for learning about balance in design. Kids can create hundreds and hundreds of their own designs from their WEDGiTS™ set, or they can build designs from the images found in the enclosed product design guide. The design guide shows ideas of different designs for kids to build. The term “wedgits” came from the toy’s symmetrical design that allows the blocks to actually wedge together using pure friction. Great Toy!!! Too many smaller pieces.
this is a great toy!! Enough said on that, all the reviews talk about how great they are to play with. This is TRUE!I would like to give it a 4.5 star, because the set is piece "heavy" with the really small pieces (13). It would be nice if the manufacturer would have put in big green square and a big white piece. They could have eliminated half of the small white pieces(which are also the only pieces small enough to be a choking hazard).But, because I bought the set because of the expansion pieces, I will still give it the 5 star rating. The expansion pieces are super. They are helpful when building those interesting looking creations.

Disappointing, Half the pieces are the tiny white diamond shapes!
I have used wedgits with my kindergarten class for years and they have always LOVED them, I ordered this set because of the two hey expansion pieces and the fact that it had a generous 35 pieces for the price. This is where the old adage comes in if it seems to good to be true it probably is, 13 of the pieces, almost half, are the very small diamonds. These are much larger in the sets I have and do not allow for as much as hoped. I am somewhat disappointed in this set. I will not order it again nor recommend it.

These are awesome!
These are awesome and so much fun! I got them for my 5 year old and he loves them (I do too!). When they were recommended to me I was kind of surprised because they don’t look like you can do very much with them, but the booklet that comes with them shows lots of different and creative things you can make. My son picked up on it really fast and will play with them for long periods of time. I know they are kind of expensive, but the are worth the money!

Great for kids of all ages
This is great for all ages. Wedgits stimulate the imagination and encourage creativity. Having each size piece a different color helps young children remember that they have to use a different color/size to make the pieces fit together. Our 3 1/2 year old grandson loves to build things - and then of course be a wrecking ball and destroy. Wedgits are indestructible. They keep his attention for a long time as there are so many different ways to put them together. I like that there is a brochure that comes with it demonstrating different ways to build a structure. I must say, adults enjoy playing with it too - I'm always getting scolded by my grandson for trying to build or add on to his structures. "No Grammy, this if for kids." The 35 piece set was an add on to the initial 20 piece set we had. Was very happy that there were some new and different shapes in this set. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

7 year old son loves them!
These are a great engineering manipulative for children. I purchased when my son was 6, he is now 7 and has not tired of them in the least. These will be used for many years. So many possibilities and really cool structures!

and not useful in the building set
I wish I would have read the other review--THIRTEEN of the pieces are tiny (less than 1 inch), and not useful in the building set. I am extremely disappointed, as my daughter loved her starter set, which was all large pieces.

Our kids LOVE this! Highly recommended.
One of the best gifts we've purchase all year. Our 4 year old boys preschool teacher said our son loved these at school, and suggested we buy some for Christmas. Both our 3 and 4 year old sons LOVE these. I enjoy playing with them, as well.

This is a great toy for small and not so small kids
This is a great toy for small and not so small kids. My older sons like building complicated structures, while a two year old likes building pyramids. The pieces are big enough, so we are not afraid of loosing them.

Great, but not as pictured
Great find, this. Had gotten a smaller set for my daughter, and she had loved it; picked up this larger set for my nephews & they have gone to town with it. However, what I got was totally different from what's pictured. The black & grey expansion blocks are.. well, simply not there!Given what a huge deal they are in this specific version of Wedgits, that's a pretty big miss.Other than that, the game is loads of fun & its a challenge to use everything while making the tallest/widest structure. Definitely recommend for ages 3 - 6.

Box damaged but toys are great!
I donated these toys to my granddaughter's kindergarten classroom. The teacher requested them and finding them for a deal was wonderful!

Amazing what kind of structures he comes up with
My 5yo daughter likes these, but not as much as my 3yo son. Amazing what kind of structures he comes up with. We had inherited a small set from friends, but this expanded set is great. I can see them playing with them for a long time yet.
