My last three phones were put in otterBox Defender cases. Expensive, but good. Just got a new iphone - and of course the Otterbox case had to be $10 more than previous. So I bought this case instead. Initial impression very good. However after wearing for several days, here's my impression: The case itself is a very taught fit (good), but not quite as "rubbery" as the Otterbox, so I figured a fall to the ground may not adsorb as much shock as the OB. But the worst is that the holster is made for a belt of about 1/8" thickness in order for the "hook" to be able to not let your belt slide past. Mine has already come up off of my normal leather thickness belt 4 times and fallen to the ground. No way could I wear my Concealed Carry holster belt and be able to use this holster. Also, when the phone is 'snapped' into the holster, it will wiggle front/back a good 1/8".

This phone case looks great and seems comparable to something like the Otterbox brand. It would have been a wonderful case but unfortunately it ruins the call quality while placed on the iPhone. Any time my husband attempted to use the case I was unable to hear him talk-it does something to the microphone i assume. As soon as he removed the case the issue was resolved. We tried this numerous times but it was evident there was some sort of design flaw.

I bought this item because otter boxes are expensive. It seems like a good choice for the price my two items of complaint are:1. I put a glass screen protector on, it was hard to fit back on. and when I did it created bubbles on the protector and was very ugly.2. my charging port rubber piece was tearing already. I took this on about 8-10 times and it was already starting to tear.If you want a cheap option then this is a great rout. Probably perfect for most people. But I work in a heavy duty environment and my phone drops often and I take the case off regularly for cleaning. It wasn't for me

Dont buy this product. The clip does not hold and the case does not protect. Brand new phone fell out of clip and shattered camera and whole back of the phone. Also chipped front screen and left a pixilated color spot.

I am very pleased with this case. It is very close to the Otter original. There is no cover over the switch, which was fine for me being that it is still protected. There is no built in clear plastic, but it comes with some nice screen protectors. The screen protectors are not shiny, they are a matte finish which I really like. For the price you can't really beat it, it will protect your phone. My old otter (used on my iPhone 8+, and just updated to iPhone 12) felt the same, but the outside silicone was slightly softer on it. I'd buy this again.

So, this is the poor man's otter box and reminds me of the otter box I had years ago. Phone fits perfectly into the case and everything works as advertised including wireless charging. Although I don't plan on using the provided holster, it holds the phone and clips on my belt securely. Another thing I like is that the side buttons work really well in allowing you to raise/lower volume etc. Some are so stiff that the side buttons don't work well. IMO, quite a lot of value for a very decent price.

The case was exactly as advertised. It fit my IP 12 perfectly and provides the protection I was seeking. There was an issue with one of the two screen protectors sent with it, however Amazon does a really good job in ensuring that their customers are satisfied. Moreover, the actual seller maintained constant communication with me to make sure that I was satisfied with the outcome of the resolution. They sent a replacement order ASAP! This means a lot when you deal with online retailers and their products. I will be sure to use them for future cellular accessories in the future.

The only real issues I have with it are1. It pulls the screen protector off. I dont know if it is an issue with the cover or the protector, but they dont fit well together.2. It does not work well with my stand I have had. The case has one of those plug in for the head phones and power, so it wont fit into my upright stand. It has one of those pads to lie it on but that takes up too much room and is pickier than you would think. I like the plug in stand up one I have. I will have to change it to a non plug in charging one I guess or change the cover.
