LennoxX6670 MERV 11 Filter (5 Pack)

I change our filter every 6 to 9 months and I have heard everything from one month to a year from contractors. These hold up, are fairly economical, and fit well. Our system is a Lennox installed in 2019.These trap dirt, dust, and hair mainly. Hard to tell when to precisely change them and it does depend on how many pets and people are in your house.

Last filer I purchased was not same width and did not work as well as these.

We have been using these for several years in our "new" heating system and are very satisfied with the product, the value, and the timely delivery. We always order 4-5 at a time.

I get a box of these OEM filters every five years. In a household without pets or significant dust, I use one per year. The price is less than half of what my HVAC professional charges when coming to do my annual service. If you have room to store them, this is the purchase to make.

The nerv # was not shown on the description of the filters. I was expecting the filters to be Nerv 16, when they arrived they were Nerv 11. That is of lesser filter quality. I'll try them and see if they are doing the job. I will give the sell A+ for packing. They filters arrived undamaged and in perfect order.

I always purchase genuine Lennox filters for my furnace and this is very convenient. I bought the 5 pack which is economical and will last me the year. No need to try to find them in town somewhere, they are delivered to my door. My furnace is new and it is amazing how much dust and dirt these filters collect.

Being of higher Merve means more efficient to filter more element and also keep the furnace sound and healthy to last longer.

Don't use MERV 11 filters for an HE furnace without consulting the manufacturer first. Turns out that air flow is impeded to a degree that can cause problems for the motor. While they kept the dust to a minimum, they created a negative-pressure issue and restricted air flow that could have cost the motor.
