This set is great. I had another set that had identical Santas but it was only battery-operated and had three settings--Off, Blinking, and On. This set can be powered by batteries (I like using rechargeable NiMh) or USB. I mainly use a USB adapter plugged into an AC outlet. With the remote you can choose one of a few settings such as blinking, fading, or chaser lights and you can then control how fast it goes with the remote control. The remote also turns them on and off, plus you can set it to turn off automatically after 2, 4, or 6 hours which is handy if you are using batteries. Since they can run from batteries they can be placed just about anywhere such as a table ornament, wreath, etc but they do not appear to be for outdoor use.

Looks authentically like a bumblebee the lights.
These look just like bumblebees. The lighting color is yellow and not orange like another set I had to return. Looks great on my homemade beehive. Remote is great, so I don’t have to manually turn on the battery pack.

Not sure the remote is necessary, but a nice feature. Perfect festive light for camp on backpacking trip.

I bought these for my bedroom, it's bee themed. It's so cute! They have wire so they are easily wrapped around things as well. The remote was a bonus 🙌

So Fun!!!
I bought these to wrap around an orthopedic boot I had to wear because of a torn calf muscle. The lights were perfect to show my Christmas spirit. Loved that I could change the flashing of the lights with the remote. The batteries lasted well after my need for the lights. Now I just need to figure out what to do with them next year.

they are tiny and seemingly fragile
These guys are cute but not very practical or I suspect long lasing. The snowmen are tiny and 1 of the 4 strands I bought already had one break off. I had the idea to put them on two windows in a covered porch but they are just too small and the strands too delicate for that. I ended up putting them on my tall indoor plant. They look like regular lights and you would have to be very close to appreciate they are snowmen.
