You & Me Baby So Sweet 16-Inch Doll with Clothes, Green Eyes, for Ages 3-6

I love this doll more than my child does. She’s so pretty!

This is a beautiful, high quality baby doll. The body is just the right softness and squishiness for hugging. The face is beautiful and her clothing feels like quality. The hair is painted on, giving her an old fashioned look and no weird, stringy short hair. I bought one for my little girl and 2 others as gifts for my nieces.

I wanted more of a vintage doll for my 1-1/2 year old, not anything with rooted hair, moving parts, batteries or a modern appearance. This is as close to vintage as you can get! The doll is adorable. Her soft body is flesh-colored and she has a beanbag bottom for sitting and a "real" feel. Her soft plastic arms and legs are floppy and realistic with fingers and toes. The details are precious. Her eyes are the most beautiful with little tiny "real" lashes, but do not close. She has wavy molded "hair". The sleeper outfit and hat she comes with are removable, so I purchased a 10-outfit set from Amazon that fits this doll just perfectly! I know my granddaughter will enjoy being the little mommy to this doll for years to come.

I apparently got this doll on sale; it cost me $20 but now, just a few days later, I see the price is up to $30. This might be worth 20; it is certainly not worth 30. There's nothing specifically wrong with it. I like the "real" eyelashes, beautiful eyes, molded hair and the sweet expression. But it's surprisingly heavy, with a flat bottom that seems should allow it to sit but it definitely doesn't sit. And its arms are oddly stiff. You know how with a lot of dolls the kids can hold the arms forward, to pretend the doll is sucking its thumb? It would be hard to get this one even to "wave" properly. Before receiving this doll I had purchased a slightly smaller "my Sweet Love" doll at WM and even though it clearly isn't as "quality", I'm finding I prefer the WM doll. Side by side, the WM doll just looks more cuddly to me.Also of note: this Baby So Sweet doll was a HUGE pain in the neck to get out of the packaging. I'm not kidding, it was fastened down so tight you'd think it was King Kong trying to escape. You know how toys are often held in place with a twist-tie that goes through the back of the box? This one had the twist-ties going through an inner piece of sturdy cardboard, so I LITERALLY had to rip up the box in order to free the King Kong er I mean, the doll. She was fastened not just at the wrists but with a sturdy choker contraption at the neck. If you do decide to purchase this, be sure to free the doll before your little one opens it or they're going to be very frustrated waiting for you to figure it all out.

I spent hours looking for the perfect baby dolls for my daughters (2 & 5). These were more expensive but definitely the prettiest and well made compared to anything else I saw. My girls absolutely love them. I got identical dolls for both because the smile on this one was so sweet. (I’m a twin anyway, so used to the identical aspect). Overall, one of the greatest purchases for Christmas!!

Perfect size baby. Good weight to her cute outfit and hat. My 2 year old was so excited to see her out of the box she was dancing and pointing. I love that she has soft eyelashes and such pretty eyes!
