I have had issues with my scalp getting itchy, oily & smelling rancid within a day of washing & conditioning it for many, many years no matter what I used, even natural products. This is the first product I've found since high school that has totally balanced things out, & I only need to shampoo & condition once a week now. This leaves my hair feeling very soft, looking silky, & it feels clean. A little product goes a long way.

So far I really like this product, It smells great also. Only complaint is the packaging, I would be helpful if the colors on the bottles were different so I could tell the difference between the conditioner and shampoo because it is difficult to read in the shower because i do not have my readers on.

I was looking for a different brand when I saw good review for Virgo on Amazon. As all reviews were positive I decided to give it a try. The shampoo is great, has subtle cent, great foam and clean my hair well without drying. I have very sensitive scalp and this shampoo does not irritate my skin neither makes my scalp itchy. I washed my hair twice with it so fat and like it a lot. I will definitely try other items from Virgo next time

This is a nice shampoo that smells mostly like citrus. It is mostly a lemon smell, but there is something more to it. I like it, although it does not impress me as something amazing. To me, it's just another shampoo. I find the light yellow print on a white background to be very difficult to read, especially in the shower when I am not wearing my glasses. I understand "branding" a product; perhaps the yellow is supposed to represent the lemon, but labels are meant to be read, so this is just annoying. Because the ingredients don’t seem to be listed on the product description, here they are:Water, sodium cocoyl isothionate, cocamidopropyl betaine, TEA-cocoyl glutamate, stearic acid, acrylates copolymer, chamomillia recutita (Matricaria) flower extract, Achillea Millefolium extract, rosa canina fruit extract, Melissa officinalis leaf extract, cymbopogon schoenanthus (Lemongrass) extract, quercus alba bark extract, geranium maculatum extract, symphytum officinale extract, salvia officinalis (sage) leaf extract, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, hamamellis virginiana (Witch hazel) extract, fragrance/parfum, glycol distearate, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, PEG-45M, glycerin, methylisothiazolinone, citric acid, triethanolamine, benzyl benzoate, geraniol, limonene, linalool, hexyl cinnamal.Overall, this shampoo works well, and I like the use of all of the extracts. Personally, I prefer that synthetic “fragrance/parfum” be left out because it is a potential source of phthalates.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
