Does what it says.
Very happy with this purchase. Our water no longer smells and tastes like rust. Our white clothes aren't getting stained orange. Wish I would've purchased this a long time ago. Easy to install with the most basic plumbing knowledge.

Filters the hydrogen sulfide - rotten egg smell
Pros: Amazon's price was the lowest for this unit. It arrived quickly and all parts included. Tank had media & tube installed. Came by UPS - I used hand truck to move inside. Plumbing was easy - I used flexible stainless steel braided water heater hoses to connect. My plumbing is 3/4 inch so I had to buy 1" - 3/4" adapters, so the hoses would connect to the 1" by-pass valve. I used blue thread tape & pipe thread compound together, no leaks, no drips. I also had to buy 6ft of 1/2" I.D. poly hose for the drain line. I'm fortunate as this unit replaced an old Culligan two tank system that did the same thing as this single tank, so the plumbing was already in place. A standpipe was nearby for backwash drainage. A huge advantage. This unit seems to remove all sulfur smell (I did get the Titanium model because I wanted hydrogen sulfide up to 6ppm removed also the ability to backwash once every week NOT three times a week) I do not have an iron issue.Cons: 1st, Expense. it's a spun fiberglass tank with a tube about 1/2 full of Katalox media and a control head. Where is the $1,000 worth of equipment? I could see $500 but not a $1,000. 2nd, why not offer a 3/4-inch by-pass valve and save getting the adapters? Most residential supply lines are 3/4" not 1 inch. Especially for $1k. 3rd, I am V-familiar with backwash cycles and airgaps in a water filter system, lived with one since 2006. This unit takes forever to backwash or "regenerate" as they say. My old Culligan backwashed for 10 mins. This unit backwashes for 10, then "BD" whatever that means. I cannot find it in any paperwork they sent. My last CON: the instructions - I got two manuals, one for a Fleck 2510 & 2510SXT - not the 5600 SXT which is the head I have. A small pamphlet for the 5600 SXT also arrived, and I used that to program. I would recommend that no one use the You Tube videos for programing the 5600SXT- they are all for water softeners not water filters and contain superfluous info for filter only set-ups. Set the time of day - how many days between regenerations (backwashes) - time of day to backwash. That's all I did. I recommend an initial backwash or two after initial start-up or upon replacement of media.Do I recommend, yes, I needed it on well water & it works, but a couple easy corrections from the manufacturer and it would be even better. Oh, the Fleck 5600SXT head is made in Italy, if that matters. One last thing, I live in Colorado, along the front range, we get serious thunderstorms here, world famous for them actually, anyway, if you live in T-storm territory, I'd recommend using a surge protector on the GFI outlet you plug the 5600SXT control head into - these new electronics are V-sensitive to line surges and I'd rather not have a fried control head. Also, Katalox media is rated to last 7-15 years depending on your water. At this point a replacement media refill is $200+.

THIS WAS A TRUE PIECE OF JUNK!
All the white clothing got ruined because of such a large amount of iron got through the system. I called them and they said you have to set it to regenerate every night and dump 100 gallons of water every time it does it! Who wants to do that? DRY MY WELL? I don't think so. Why didn't they say this when you are buying it?

Made a world of difference
I have heavy iron levels in my well water. Filters that are supposed to last three months are only lasting a week. It's been six weeks so far and it's still like having completely different water coming from the well. No smell no taste 😊 I will be adding another one soon just to ease the stress on just one.

A great product
I got quotes from local installation companies and buying the same part number filter installed was almost 4x the cost. It took about 20 minutes to install so anytime I can save a grand or more for less than an hours work it makes me happy. The quality of our water is comparable to bottled water. Previously it was orange with rust and had a lot of sulfur so it smelled like rotten eggs even though it was filtered buy two cartridge filters and a whole house filter.
