Excellent reference for Nikon Z7ii / Z6ii
Just bought a new Z7ii. I always get a guide book from David Busch for each new camera (D300, D800). These guides take you through the setup, explain the purpose behind all the options and provide useful recommendations. The user manual only lists all the options, but does not provide much explanation.David Busch's books are easy to understand and in my opinion a must-have if you are serious about your new camera. One minor complaint is the quality of the binding. The previous books are quite a few years old and still hold up very well despite frequent use. This one however starts to come apart after reading the first 50 pages. I already have a bunch of loose pages. Did they try to save glue? This has nothing to do with the quality of the content, therefore I still give it 5 stars. Just poor binding.

Awful Binding
Bought this a couple years ago. For the most part it has been on a bookshelf. Information within it is 5 star but it fell apart on me this week. From a regular book to chunks of pages with no forewarning. Very disappointing considering it has mostly sat on a shelf. First time I've ever experienced something like this. It was never mishandled. Sad.

An Excellent Reference Book
Whenever I have a question about the operation of my Nikon z7ii, I pick up this book and find the answer. David Busch has done an excellent job preparing this book. It is a great reference book. I am glad I purchased this book.

Excellent guide to the Z Cameras
The manual that comes with the camera contains a description of all the functions and controls, but what's missing there is the "why" you'd want to use each feature. This book covers all that and more, with many clear photos, not only of menus, but of the images that result from the use of the features.

Content is excellent! Physical quality of the book itself is poor; pages keep falling out!
I bought my book in 2021 when I bought my Nikon Z7ii. David Busch's books offer outstanding content; I'm an absolute fan. But, as noted in other reviews that I am seeing now, the physical quality of the paperback book is just awful. Numerous pages are falling out in different sections of the book. Very poor glue binding quality. Most annoying as I pick up the book from time to time to refresh my knowledge. A book like this should physically holdup to use.I have this same book for my Nikon D850 and it has never lost a page, and it is older than the Z7 version.

I am new to Nikon digital camera and knew nothing about it. This book by David Busch’s helps a lot as it is very detailed in every steps. I strongly recommend this book anyone who is new to Nikon digital camera. Even more details than Nikon user manual. It comes with many colourful pictures with clear illustrations.
