While this candle set is value for money and a pretty set to give as a gift. I think it's a dangerous set. I did exactly what it said on the instructions to light it in a safe area, away from children and to observe at all times. I even cut with wick every time I used it and also never left it burning for too long. Towards the end the flame got out of a little control and I could see that the wax had melted at the bottom and the casing was going black. It burned through onto my unit. So completely angry as I feel this is a hazard, I had to put water on it as I tried a few times to block the candle out. Worrying about my unit and it just went up light a rocket flame. Water wasn't the best but it wouldn't blow out.

I ordered these for mothers day and my mum loved them and the smells. They come in a nice box, the only thing I would say, is the candles are a lot smaller than I thought they would be.

I had purchased this in advance for mothers day and have gave it early as I got the dates mixed up (oops!). However, my mum says they look brilliant, not giving it the full stars for value for money though as I do believe they should add another to make it the ideal value for a customer.The candles themselves smell great and look perfect.

Smell lovely but getting the lids off is a bit strenuous! They are pretty little tins and have the accents of high quality candles. Burning time is good and the scent is subtle when lit and not over powerful.

First of all much smaller than expected. It smelt nice at first but near the end there was a really strong burning smell and a huge flame. The candle pot changed colours and had turned brown. The candle has left burning marks on the table. Disappointed.
