Once installed, sounds great! The next day the CEL came on showing code P0171. Cleared code and checked all hoses if there was a leak, no leak everything is secured. CEL came back on a total of five times. After the second time I changed the MAF Sensor and CEL came back again. After the third time the car started to idle rough and had a jerky acceleration. Tried everything to unplug the battery and let it sit and reconnect and let it idle, but still no change. Contacted K&N directly and no response. The hassle and stress is not worth it. Item is returned. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So much love for this intake *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on 27 July 2014* The K&N kit comes with very easy to follow instructions that are specifically printed out for your Fit. I was amazed at that. Then they also included a dyno chart showing the peak power gains, which blew away what little was left of my mind. So that's just awesome.As for the installation: the stock Fit air filter housing is weirdly shaped and bulky. K&N says you don't have to remove your battery to take it out, but I found that removing the battery makes for a much easier filter housing removal and new intake installation. The rest of it is simply straight forward and very easy to follow with the written instructions or the picture instructions.The K&N intake sounds phenomenal. There is a pleasant growl right in between 3500 and 5000 RPM's that makes driving through tunnels amazing. I was mildly worried that my Fit might get that horrible, tinny "rice rocket" sound, but no, it sounds great without being annoying. But since the Fit is already prone to interior noise, the sound of the intake is very noticeable. Luckily it sounds great.Make sure you buy the K&N recharge kit to clean the filter. Since the Fit is equipped with an air guide under your hood, only one side gets "dirty", so just loosen the hose clamp and rotate the conical air filter about once a month. I recommend cleaning the filter every 6 months. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ K&N 69-1017TTK intake review *by -***- on Reviewed in the United States on 26 December 2014* This intake is not too terribly loud which is good (quieter the better). It seems to liven the car up a bit acceleration wise. Made some 5-60 MPH runs with the following results:With K&N intake installed 9.5 sec average (2 runs, 1 each way on mostly flat ground, near as I can tell, with near full tank of gas and just me in car [210 lbs])Stock it runs 10.5 secs.Believe this to be a pretty significant improvement. I own the 5 speed manual. I think the intake smoothly makes more power everywhere whereas the PRM Jetstream intake would make you Feel the Vtec come on (and Hear it too). The PRM was much more noticeable in making more power when the engine went on Vtec - it was like a little turbo came on when the engine went on Vtec. No longer own the PRM intake as it was Very Loud when the engine went on Vtec.The kit installation is more complicated than it needs to be, in my opinion. I did Not replace the crankcase vent and radiator lines but simply bought a 2' hose 3/8 ID and ran it from crankcase vent metal tube to the K&N intake tube. Had to buy a fitting to fit: 1/4 NPT, 3/8 barb elbow, black nylon from US Plastics.
