NIV, Beautiful Word Bible, Leathersoft, Brown/Blue: 500 Full-Color Illustrated Verses Imitation Leather – February 2, 2016

This is a beautiful bible! Love the colors on the cover and the blue ribbon marker. I love the single column layout, beautiful designs throughout, plenty of room to write notes, black text (which is great so that the whole word of God can be paid attention to and learned from--not just what's in red letters) and easy readability(font size). I used with accuglide highlighters which didn't bleed or smear through this bible and a pilot easy touch medium black pen which didn't bleed through the lined margins. While the NIV isn't the translation I look the most highly on (because it's more thought/idea than literal which can lead to interpretation problems) I do like the way some of the verses sound a bit more poetic to me. Anyway, the best translation is the one you'll actually read ;)I highly recommend this bible!

Young people love it! I have gifted it to 3 teens so far and they all love it.It's so pretty inside which is a great draw for kids to OPEN their bible and read a few passages-- even if, at first, its just because of the pretty artwork!! Highly recommend. My daughter loves that there is room to write notes in it as well. I love that she loves it.

I was looking for a Bible that was NOT a study Bible. I want to dig into God’s word and force myself to think about what I am reading. I LOVE the color in this Bible, I love the space in the margins for note taking, and I love the beautiful leather binding.

This Bible is so pretty. I love the way it looks, the colored pictures adds more interest. I love the soft cover, like something you will keep for years. I am giving this to my mama for Mother's Day. Yes, it is that beautiful. Wish it was mine to keep!!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bible!!! The illustrations of scripture scattered throughout are wonderful!! The cover is imitation leather and beautiful as well - VERY well made and made to last! There is space to make notes or illustrations throughout. A perfect Bible for yourself or to give as a gift. I absolutely LOVE this Bible and would give it more stars if I could!

This is a beautiful Bible. Some have mentioned the pages are thin, but no thinner than bibles I’ve had previously (and for a lot more $). Just don’t use a regular pen while marking. Use highlighters made for bible or dull colored pencils.

This is a beautiful bible! I have a journaling bible that I am writing in myself but I thought this would make a very nice gift for a family member. The "leather" binding is soft and flexible, the pages are easy to read and there is a variety in the styles of "journaling" inside.

This bible is nice & the illustrations are amazing! The imitation leather is nicely crafted & this is a steal at the listed price. NIV was made for those like me who need things in simpler terms. Highly recommend!
