Cimex Eradicator Steamer

We use this steamer as part of our bed bug remediation treatments in a commercial setting. We have at least 20 of them in service, each used multiple times per week for over a year or more that we have had them. These steamers have held up exceptionally well, and out of all those units, the only repairs needed has been two hose replacements—both due to improper storage, which we resolved by purchasing the optional storage bag.They perform exactly as needed, delivering consistent, high-temperature steam, and are tough enough to handle the heavy use we put them through. This steamer is very powerful and effective at eliminating tiny, elusive critters from bedbugs to mites. Francesca from customer service is a delight and extremely helpful with troubleshooting when issues arise.

This was the reason why I chose an Amazon product so that we can treat our situation immediately!!I did track these bedbugs in from the wild by the way I had no idea that you could get them from the outside, as I fell into very tall grasses in bulrushes near the Mississippi River!! We’ve had them ever since!!! I thought they were mosquitoes at first.It does provide high pressure and non-wet steam! One has to hold it very close to items to not scatter the bugs. I am treating things heavily so I do have to wait for it to build up pressure at times but considering this product arrived immediately to start treatment before they become a gigantic problem! I did have questions at first, and I talk to a nice Italian lady located in Los Angeles. She was very helpful and referred me to a product specialist but I did not need to use that service. I think I could also treat wrinkles in clothes.I want to mention that it does take about 25 minutes to build up pressure but you could get other items ready to be steamed as you’re waiting. I put it in about 4 cups of distilled water and that did last me a few hours. You do have to wait for the thing to cool off to add more water which was not really a problem. It had some work arounds - but I don’t care. I’m killing the bugs!! Well worth the $1400 cost which you would pay an exterminator more and I can do this over and over again now. It also can clean floors, etc!There was a couple things that bothered me that everywhere on the box mentions that it is for bedbugs and that was very embarrassing as we have a UPS mailbox.Also, you cannot order attachments sets at this time on Amazon. You would have to go to the company website. Oh well, I guess I will steam clean my carpets in the future and will order that attachment set by the way I am steam cleaning the carpets now but maybe using a brush attachment,, would make it treat the carpet deeper I think.One other thing this is just one way of many that I am deep treating our place. I am also using a propane heater and a remote laxer temperature, diatomaceous earth, bedbug spray, foggers at hot water washing, and of course the dryer! You Must treat these bugs in a comprehensive manner. I am already seeing results.

This is hands down the best steamer money can buy! Easy to use and compact.

I love this product. It has safety features like the hose locks in . You can not open the water tank until it is cool and the pressure is down The nozzle can be lock off. I got it to kill bugs but it helps with cleaning too. It is quality.

This device kills viruses and germs using high temperature steam, so it works great for me.It’s quite compact, so it doesn’t take a lot of space. It has a very long power cord and wheels, it quite easy to move around. It obviously runs on water, and the boiler is fairly easy to fill.I have used it on the couch, chairs, desks, and high touch points, but it really makes the difference on my daughter's toys. With this device I can sanitize her clothes and her room without using chemicals, which is a plus for me. My husband has used it also in some rooms to remove mold, and I read it is used also against bed bugs and other insects.Frankly, the price point is a bit daunting at first, but it does run only on tap water which makes it cheaper in the long run. And if it is as sturdy as it looks, I think it’s worth it.Item came well packaged and is not heavy!

The average run time for the standard disinfection is between 5- 20 minutes per room and the water tank needs to be filled about every 4-5 hours. One of the biggest benefits I had not originally expected was how little water the machine leaves on surfaces, so it is especially useful on upholstered furniture or wood that you don’t want to be ruined by extra moisture.Italian made, so of course a great design, very nice looking.  But it also seems sturdy and durable.Used daily for sanitizing and disinfecting all spaces that have been used.
