good protection but didn't fit my backpack
it does work and protects the lense and provides gimbal support.Unfortunately, I had to return it as it doesnt fit into my DJI hardshell backpack, as the foam of the backpack is cut perfectly for the camera/gimbal and there isn't much room left....

Too tight
Great idea and I've seen people use it, however the one I just received is too tight around the body of the camera... Way to difficult to deal with this way.

If you own a Phantom 3, you absolutely need ...
If you own a Phantom 3, you absolutely need this. It fits perfectly, keeps the gimbal completely stable, and offers some protection to the camera lens. It is much easier to install than the factory gimbal clamp, which in my opinion, is ridiculous.

It may be a little on the expensive side but unlike the one that comes with the Phantom 3 it doesn't fall off, it clearly easier to but on and it protects the lens.
