I don't often write reviews unless I'm blown away by how wonderful a product or company is. Unfortunately I feel like people should have a heads up on the poor quality of this product. I understand I was looking for an inexpensive dog bed, and I got what I paid for. However I expected these to last longer than a few months. I removed the covers to wash them and was blown away by what the insides looked like. I had noticed the middle was caving in but I never expected it to be completely gone! I bought these in mid-February and they stayed in good shape for maybe 2-3 months. I have 2 dogs, one is about 75 lbs and the other is about 55lbs. Both use these dog beds 2-3 nights a week when we can get them to stay off of our bed. The pictures were taken after the first time I removed the covers and there were absolutely no tears in the covers on top.

I bought this bed in September for my puppy. Today I went to pull the cover off to wash it and the "orthopedic" foam is destroyed. My pet didn't destroy this item (unlike other items). It's not eligible for a return. I think this should have held up much longer than 4 months. I'm disappointed in the foam insert. Hopefully the cover will be ok after washing. My pup only lays on this at night. :(

This dog bed is one of the best investments I have ever made! I can't tell you how many dog beds I have wasted my money on and my dogs don't even use it. Both of my dogs are OBSESSED with it! It is really easy to clean, and lasts for a long time.

I have bought 6 of the same dog bed from Fur Haven over the years for my 2 elderly dogs. I recently purchased one about a month ago. I decided that I needed an extra one in another room so I bought another one a week ago (same exact color & size). The new bed was obviously thinner and also had a strange smell. When I opened the zipper I saw that the old bed had a nice egg crate insert, and the new bed had a stinky, thin piece of foam. I have never had an issue with this company before, but how did the product change so much in about 3 weeks with no change in the description or price? I have attached a photo to show the difference in the old and new beds.

Extremely poor quality, like other reviewers said, it was completely flattened in a couple days. After 30 days, I took the cover off to wash it and the foam inside was disintegrating already, had to throw $40+ down the drain for one month of service. See picture below.

Poorly made. High Priced. Being it is advertised as "Orthopedic" I expected something of more quality. I opened the cover and came to realize the foam inside is so poor I give it 3 months for it to start peeling and deteriorating. At this time I don't have a choice as I'm using it for my dog who is recovering from knee surgery. Will try going out on the weekend searching for a more reliable bed. Does not meet the product description at all.

Update: I had to buy another bed. My dog is a mobility assist dog so keeping his joints in good health was important was was his comfort. I had to pad this with 2 comforters and still he was hitting the ground and it was very uncomfortable for him. He would get up and reposition himself many times trying to get comfortable and you could tell he just was not comfortable. Please go with an otheropedic bed instead. I found one that was a bit over $60 that was like an over stuffed pillow with memory foam pieces so it was sqooshy and not hard and rigid like other othopedic beds. Even if your dog is not a service dog or an elderly dog, by a much better bed then this. This was money wasted!Orginal comment: This was perfect size but when you push down on it, you feel the floor. Being that I have hard floors I had to put a comforter over it to make it soft enough for my dog but he does love it! He is a 75 lb American Pitbull Terrier. Size: Large - Brown

Not as expected at all. The egg crate of this orthopaedic bed was not even half as think as the picture of the product. My dog ( 65 pound husky) was literally sleeping on the floor. The thickness of this bed is a joke. Sent it back the day after.

This is not an inexpensive crate pad so you would be reasonable to expect a measure of quality. If you own a dog (we have two), you know that your dog's bedding needs to be washed at regular intervals. This pad just does not stand up to even regular use. The fabric cover is thin but worse still is the foam padding. After just two months of use, the "orthopaedic" foam padding is falling apart in great chunks. This morning, I threw the whole useless mess into the garbage. For $60, I expected to get more than a couple of months out of this product.

I was initially concerned about this product as our old dog has overnight continence issues and while the cover is machine washable the bed is not. Problem solved by just buying a standard incontinence sheet which we tuck around the bed and pop a veterinary fleece on the top. Old dog loves this bed and sleeps like a puppy now. Recommended buy.

When this first arrived, I was so disappointed in the appearance and quality.. I thought it would last days with my puppy.How wrong was I?! my puppy loves this bed and it's stood up to her chewing and dragging around the house :)Would definitely recommend.

I was uncertain about this product as it looks prett cheaply made and I could’ve probably made one myself for a lot less money, but the dog LOVES her bed, so can’t grumble too much as this is why we bought it.
