UNEDUCATED REVIEWS
Its very frustrating to hear some of the uneducated reviews on here, depicting this product as harmful. Get educated about the product before you spout misinformationFIRST OF ALLYou need ALL your vitamins and all 90 essential minerals including trace minerals for your chemistry to be Healthy! Think of your body as a organic chemistry lab. Minerals are the electrical charge needed to process vitamins. You can NOT process vitamins without mineralsYou know you can live longer with a vitamin deficiency then you can a mineral deficiency?THINK MAGNETS and CHEMISTRYYour Intestines are POSITIVELY charged, This is where minerals are absorbed,PLANT derived minerals are NEGATIVE charged and are attracted and absorbed into the intestines. PLANT Minerals are GOOD FOR YOU and YOU NEED ALL OF THEM!ELEMENTAL minerals taken from the earth like COPPER out of a COPPER MINE are BAD for you BUT... PLANT DERIVED copper is good for you and is used to process the elasticity in your skin and your artery walls.ELEMENTAL MINERALS have a POSITIVE charge and are rejected by the intestines (which are also positively charged)and are retained in the tissues which causes a toxic metal buildup in the body. When you drink PLANT derived minerals the toxic ELEMENTAL MINERALS are attracted to the NEGATIVE CHARGED PLANT minerals and it helps you expel the toxic metals. So if you want to get rid of lead, mercury and other various forms of toxic metals (Positive charged), they will be attracted like a magnet to the plant derived minerals (Negative charged) and you will expel them.WHICH IS THE REVERSE OF WHAT IS BEING SPOUTED ON HERE. DON'T CONFUSE PLANT DERIVED MINERALS WITH ELEMENTAL MINERALS!!!Should I be worried about the arsenic, lead, aluminum, mercury, or other "heavy metals" in the products?Answer:No - this is one of the benefits of taking Plant-Derived Minerals. We know that all of these minerals are naturally occuring in the human body and that there are at least 60 essential minerals, including lead and mercury (one of which is used in RNA & DNA replication - cell growth/repair- the other for proper kidney function). Typically the "heavy metals" are dangerous in the metallic form where they are not water soluble, and the Plant-Derived minerals are all water soluble. This means that if you get more than your body can use, it's easy to eliminate, flush out the rest so there is no build-up. In fact, the Plant-Derived minerals have the potential to help your body eliminate many potentially harmful, inorganic metal build ups.For example many people worry about ingesting too much aluminum. It has associated with Alzheimer's Disease. Yet what many people do not realize is that 12% of the earth's crust consists of aluminum bound typically to either oxygen or silica. No one can buy a fruit, grain, nut, vegetable, etc. at any market that does not contain trace amounts of organically bound aluminum.Another interesting fact is that due to the electro magnetic charge of organically bound minerals they cannot be stored in the body for longer than about 6 to 8 hours, thus they never create any sort of toxic overload. Minerals that come from inorganic sources such as rocks, clays and sea water can accumulate in the soft tissue of the body. Some plant-sourced minerals have been found to actually remove their heavy metal counterparts. For example, going back to aluminum, aluminum is very effective in not only cleansing the body at the cellular level but also in assisting it to remove any metallic aluminum that might be present.[...]How did minerals get into the plant back then? Of course, they came from soil and rock. But they became part of the plant through the process of photosynthesis. And that made them "colloidal", which is our key word for today. Comparing plant derived colloidal minerals to rock and shell based minerals is like comparing filet mignon to gristle. Colloidal minerals have a negative electrical charge, and each particle is hundreds of times smaller than a metallic mineral. The colloidals stay suspended in water rather than going into solution because of the negative charge and their size/ weight ratio.Expert chemists say the reason colloidals are non-toxic is because of their plant or vegetable source, and their negative electrical charge. For example, iodine in colloidal form is one of the elements essential for human cells. But, if you drank even 2-3 grains of free iodine, it would surely kill you. In colloidal form, it is not only harmless, it is beneficial. The same is true for arsenic, lead, aluminum, and other minerals considered toxic.Plant Colloidals are the smallest particles that matter can be divided into while still keeping its individual characteristics. The particles range from 0.01 millionths of an inch to 10 millionths of an inch in size. The smaller ones cannot be seen with any microscope. Their small size gives colloidal minerals enormous surface area, and special properties of absorption for your body, as opposed to rock and shell based minerals. One teaspoon of colloidals can have a total surface area of over 127 acres. With billions of tiny electrically-charged minerals.Soil with a similar amount of minerals, but metallic, have particles which are hundreds or thousands of times larger, and positively-charged, which makes a big difference. You can't absorb them. If you're starving and you eat soil, you would get no nourishment. Your body just cant absorb inorganic minerals efficiently, nor can it convert them. Only a plant can take soil out of the earth, and make live material that your body can use. [...] Go on YOUTUBE and search....Trace Minerals Research: Light Bulb Demonstration-Segment 2

I did my own comparison
To be fair, I have been taking a very good supplement for quit some time, Andrew Lessman's Essential 1, this is a multivitamin, and I take B-12, D, C, Co-q10, vein and circulation support, which are all separately and sold within his line of nutritional products. I've only had one complaint, they are all in capsule form, and even though not hard to swallow, I'm just tired of popping pills everyday. My brother had been urging me to try this Tangy Tangerine. So I finally broke down and ordered some.I want to add that I had a Gastric Bypass 10 years ago, so I do not absorb vitamins and minerals like the average person, infact recently I have had D, B-12 and Iron deficiencies, which caused some big problems. Mostly, lack of Iron, but I have also been taking Andrew's Iron supplement everyday that has helped greatly. (I forgot to mention that above ) when this happened, it was a wake up call, so I got on supplements and take them religiously now.As I mentioned above, vitamin absorbsion is a big problem with me, so the idea of a supplement drink made sense to me.I have taken pictures of the Supplement Facts label of both products for comparison. The first picture is Andrew Lessman's label, and the second and third are Tangy Tangerine. As you can see, there are higher levels of everything in Tangy Tangerine. I am guessing it's because in capsule form, you may be limited, as compared to drinking the supplement. There are also important enzymes you need like Co-Q10 in TangyTangerine, that you have to buy separately in Andrew's line. And a big one for me, Potassium is in Tangy Tangerine, not in the supplement I was taking. Glucosamine and Chondrotin, is in this, not in Andrew's, again, you have to purchase separately. Then there is the price to consider, and good vitamins and minerals do not come cheaply. I was spending on the average, about 100.00 a bottle for each supplement, although, that was a 1 year supply of each. So, actually, when I spent 60.00 for Tangy Tangerine, the breakdown is about 720.00 per year, with all the supplements you could ever need in the product. Whereas for Andrew's I was spending about 600.00 per year. I was not getting the levels in Andrew's that I am getting in Tangy Tangerine. So I say price wise, it's a toss up.I have just started Tangy Tanderine, so I may have to update this review as to long term results. As far as taste, it's tolerable, just like the label says it tastes like tangy tangerine. I did not feel the extreme energy boost after the first drink like others have reported, but then I have already been on some very good supplements for a long time, so I may not be a good example. Someone who is not taking anything may feel an energy kick, I don't doubt that. I was not really clear on how much water to mix this with, so I took a bottle of crystal geiser bottled water, put it in the blender, added the powder and it blended up ok. I've read others saying they use half a cup to 8 oz of water or juice. I am now using 6 to 8 oz of water with a few ice cubes in the blender, and it actually tastes better with less water. The only sweetner I see in this product is stevia, and I do not mind that, but that is a choice you'll have to make.

Works well
It has all the vitamins and minerals in it that you need. Your body seems to assimilate it more quickly than taking pills. I can feel the difference especially after a week. It does have a problem dissolving. It is better putting it in a shaker bottle then it is no problem. Would I buy it again... definitely yes. Even though it seems expensive it is about the same price or less than the combination of vitamins, minerals and herbs I take.
