I was worried based on reviews as to if a XXL would be vastly too small for a size 18 at 220 and 5'5", but the coat fits as expected. (Note don't know exact weight because of lack of a scale; if anything weight is higher). Sure it would fit better with a few less pounds, especially if you want to wear thick sweaters or blazers underneath. However, it was easy to move arms around and above my head, and bend over to pick up items without a problem; without it feeling snug. The texture of the coat is fine; it's soft, not stiff. It is mid-weight, not heavy and not lightweight. There is a good lining inside. Would be fine for milder midwestern winter days so long as you're not standing still at a bus stop for prolonged periods, but walking from car to store in 32 degrees should be fine. It will need steaming to remove wrinkles. The center button popped off before putting on the coat while testing out buttoning and unbuttoning it. It buttoned easily, it was the unbuttoning that was tougher. Had to do the other buttons more gently, then it was not a problem putting it on and doing the buttons once having the hang of it. (As someone else mentioned before, the button sizes are a bit large for the button hole size.) These would be better as snap-close buttons. The three buttons at the neck flap have corresponding closures, which is a nice touch. I thought they were going to be decorative only. There are large pockets in the pleats (one hand in pic has a thumb in the pocket; but whole hand fits inside with room to spare). The front flaps are decorative only. It came with a belt (not pictured) and there is a large belt loop at the back only; no belt loops on the side. I'm giving it a 5 because for the price of $89 this is well worth it. Had it been over $100, I might've given it a four. I can totally see why some people purchased more than one. I'll see how it holds up once winter actually rolls around, but out of the box, I am pleased with it.

If you’re thinking about getting this one, do it! I wanted something stylish to take with me on vacation to a cooler climate area and found this gem. It was on sale at the time, so I snagged it up. I received it on time. It looks just like the photo, if not better. The quality of the outer material is great! Sewn, not printed, and gives it a nicer quality appearance. The details from the belts on the sleeve to the collar is beautiful. The lining material is a bit on the cheaper side, but keeps warm. You can’t see that, and I usually wear long sleeve if I’m wearing a coat or jacket anyway, so doesn’t bother me. The only con for me is that the arms are a bit short for me, but I have an above average wingspan so it’s nothing new to me. I’m still keeping because it’s not that short and noticeable. I’ll try to get picks and update once I’ve worn it.

I like the look of the coat, on the models of course. Not so much how it looks on me. I ordered a 2xl and it just does fit and will just button. Unfortunately when being designed for larger women they did not account for a wider hip, so the skirt portion is slightly shorter rides just on the hip and makes me look bigger, despite the fact that black has a slimming effect. If I fully button the way it is intended to be worn, it is not flattering at all. I always look over size guides when ordering and the 2xl should have afforded me a little more room than it did.There is some room for improvement with this coat for sure. There is only a single loop for the belt, that is directly in the middle of the back. So you either have to tie it, or remove it as it will drag the ground otherwise. Ig there were additional loops on the sides as well you could loop through keep the belt with the coat without needing to tie it every time. For larger or plus size a little more length to the skirted area or less pleating would be a more flattering look overall.The collar could use a bit of improvement as well, perhaps a different material completely. The faux fur is the type that you cannot dry, so expect to be dry cleaning or spot cleaning your coat rather than being able to launder as you normally would. If you run it through the dryer the collar will melt and mat.Get yourself a lint roller you will need one. The coat attracts everything, lint, pet hair and more. So before heading out I have to run a lint roller over it. One of my buttons is a tad stiff to use, like the button hole is slightly smaller than it should be I can still button it but I do have to really shove it through.Do I recommend it? Not for anyone with large set hips, if you are not plus size it likely will do well for you! I did give it 4 stars because it is very warm, and a good coat to keep warm during winter. It just was not as flattering a cut as I hoped it would be. A good value for the cost it will keep you warm the coat itself is a very heavy material and even walking my dogs in -10 degrees I still stay very warm. I would love to see some improvements and larger more accurate sizes for plus size in this coat.

I hate coats that are too thick and make me feel restricted. This has a little stretch to it and is light weight but warm. I ordered a 2xl I’m 5’3” and 210 lbs- it fits perfect. I’m normally a 1x-2x. Size up because it runs a bit small. The fabric feels amazing. The bottom flares and has a double layered skirt like appearance that is unique and adorable. It creates a super feminine high class look. I shopped for hours on Amazon and kept coming back to this coat. So glad I bought it.

My favorite jacket I have ever had and I even have a heated jacket for those cold winter days in Wisco. I have gotten at least 100 compliments on this jacket. Everytime I wear it I get compliments. It fits amazing, decently warm for falls/spring days, the color is beautiful. I'm 5'4" 180lbs and I ordered a XL. The sleeves could be longer but if I got a L, I would of definitely had to go up a size just due to the sleeve length. I got the Teal and Black one <3

I love the warmth and style of the coat,but after wearing only 1 time, I lost the very top button which is noticeable and must be replaced. All of the buttons are loose after just one wear

I am so pleased with the quality, weight, color, look, and feel of this beautiful coat.I purchased 2 of these coats in XL and XXL. I probably should have ordered a large. The coats are sized correctly but I was still worried and ordered big. I am returning the XXL and keeping the XL because I was able to tighten the fit. I love holiday coats and wearing to the theater or out for dinner with friends. This coat is well made and priced decent. I was especially happy about the Prime fast shipping. The only complaint I have is the lack of side loops for the belt. The belt only has one loop on the back of coat, so the belt drags on the ground when not tied. I am adding side loops to hold belt in place. Otherwise I am very happy!

It looks very elegant and charming. Withstands the temprature around 0°C. Its eye-catching. Pockets both the side adds value to this coat.
