Amazing audio quality and soundscape
Firstly the sound quality is fantastic, be that xbox, PS5 or PC, better than the wired steel series pro i had before, easy to set up as well. My only dislike is the build quality isnt amazing, im not worried they will break but it's a little lacking, i will take that hit for the amazing audio though!

Incredible Headset
I have now had this headset for a few months as I wanted to ensure this product truly did stand the test of daily use for a long period and I can say that this headset has excelled in everything. The sound quality blows anything else I've ever used out of the water and the balance between bases and trebles is wonderful. Trebles are probably the only area they slightly wobble at but for someone not paying attention you won't notice a thing. There is also no sound cancellation on this which isn't a problem for me but could be for others. The built in mic monitoring is very good too and you can scale how sensitive it is.The comfort of the headset is great after using them for a couple of weeks. Upon first use the headset will squeeze your head fairly uncomfortably, I was getting aches all over so it's one of those headsets that's like a new pair of shoes. Once they are broke in, it's no problem at all to wear.Connectivity is really simple. Plug the dongle into your Xbox and as soon as your headset turns on it connects. Dual connectivity works as flawlessly on phones too and their mobile app is incredible for controlling your headset and fine tuning your settings. The only one downside about dual connectivity is you can't individually control the volume from your phone and your Xbox, it utilises the same volume so sometimes things can be very loud on the phone or Xbox. This might be an inherent problem with dual connectivity though. The build quality is excellent. It's pretty much all very strong plastic, I know that might ring alarm bells but this product is very, very firm. I've used it daily for months now and nothing is even beginning to show signs of wear, even the leather cushions and headband which are usually the first to wear on headsets.Overall I'm very impressed with this headset and for anyone looking for a top of the range experience for a fairly good price I'd recommend. The only reason I wouldn't give this a 5 is because of the way it squeezes your head at the start, after that time has passed though I'd give it 5 stars no problem.

Audio quality is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I will say the clamping force is a little strong and the leather ear cups will make your ears sweat but the sound quality is next level

Broken
After 3 months of use, this low quality plastic headset broke on me. Going to ask for a replacement

Great sound poor wireless
I used these in two situations. 1) at home 2) at a lan and I'll add I've used other wireless headsets at previous events. At home the unbixing and setup was straight forward. However I had to reset the headset to get the mic to work. Audeze hq software is a let down as you can't change any settings unless it's connected. You can't use the USB c as a wired audio option, it's charging only. The sound quality though is brilliant and I found the claiming force perfect. At a lan event these wouldn't stay connected to the receiver which was in the back of the pc 2 feet away, keeps repeating connected. Moved the receiver to the pass through in my keyboard and it was better but still dropping out. I've used razer, steelseries and hyperx wireless all without any issue. Safe to say I didn't use the Audeze at the event.Build quality feels good and if I was using them at home only I'd probably keep them. However these arent ticking all the boxes for me

Amazing but sadly flawed
First I would like to say that the sound these put out is simply amazing but sadly I had to return them due to a fault which I believe to be a design flaw. I'll start with what's good, the sound quality is second to none at this price point nothing comes close bass is excellent, treble is great, volume is unbelievable and the clarity is just astounding every little detail can be heard. the overall build quality feels very premium and there's plenty of cushion that being said the clamping force is very high I've been told it gets better over time but I didn't have them long enough to find out. Now for the ugly, the mobile app is terribly basic and lacks some great features such as the ability to independently change the volume for separate devices when using multi-device connection the physical buttons on the headset are a mess and it would take weeks to get used to the quality of the buttons and dials fall way short of the expectations given with how good the headset feels, the dials aren't a smooth action and very stiff and rotate infinitely the dials also have a press function which is very badly designed there's no indication that they do anything and the chat and game balance as no feedback at all when you reach 50-50 its just guesswork yes you could use the app but I shouldn't have to do that when I'm in the middle of a game the mic is alright though its slightly muffled, now for the reason as to why I returned my Penrose X.I returned them because the metallic film that is part of the driver was at fault it turns out that it is a design flaw like OLED is for burn-in... The right ear cup developed a crinkling sound after a DAY of use I did nothing to miss handle them and didn't apply any sort of external pressure as this metallic film is a diaphragm and is very fragile so any unbalance in pressure causes miner crinkling but in my case, it was extreme all I had to do was turn my head and it sounds like a crisp packet was in my ear it was horrible I did some research and it appears I'm not alone with this issue but many don't experience it so buyers beware you may not experience this fault but for £300 consumers shouldn't be worrying about such things, I'll give massive credit to the seller HiFi headphones I believe whom I dealt with they were very responsive and responded promptly to my issue and they happily refunded me the cost of both the headset and shipping, I was happy with my experience with the companies staff if anyone sees this take confidence in knowing that the staff will care about any issues you have.

Superb sound quality.
Superb sound. I Play series x games with these, watch Netflix (shows with atmos sound great.) I don’t have any kind of distortion, sound interruption or anything like that. If i walk into the next room, sure the sound will cut off, but Why would you need to do that.

In a Different League
(Reviewed on Xbox Series X)I preface this by saying that I love quality audio; I’ve owned fancy THX-certified speaker systems for PC gaming and a variety of headsets, including brands such as Astro, Turtle Beach, and Sennheiser. I have never owned true “audiophile grade” headphones before. Therefore, the sound from these blows me away. Even coming from my Sennheiser PC 360 G4ME headset I’ve been using for almost a decade, there’s little comparison to the richness and detail of the sound I’m getting from the Penrose X, particularly with Dolby Atmos enabled (for the small fee through the Xbox digital storefront).Performance: With Atmos enabled (or the 3D positional audio format of your choice), you should not struggle to locate distinct sounds all around you. I tested this in Gears 5, Doom Eternal, and Battlefield V. Audio is detailed and explosions/gunfire boom with an impressive amount of bass for a pair of headphones. Mid and high range don’t get swamped and I can’t handle turning the volume up all the way...plenty of power, here.I also tested them out with the Bluetooth connection to my iPhone X to listen to music; again, I was amazed by the sound quality. I heard layers of songs I’d never heard before, songs I’ve listened to hundreds of times. Playing music games (Aaero, Fuser, Invector) was also a special treat.I have not watched any movie content yet, but given what I’ve heard so far, I have high expectations regarding sound fidelity.Connection: Others have complained of disconnecting issues or popping, buzzing, or audio cutting out. I’ve had none of these issues except when trying to record and instantly upload video using the Xbox controller’s “share” button. The additional processing may mess with the audio, but it’s momentary (less than 3 seconds) and manifests as a brief stuttering...nothing terrible. The wireless connection to the Xbox through the included USB dongle seems solid. I sit 10-15 feet away from my Xbox and haven’t had issues so far. If you prefer, you can connect to a controller through the included aux cord, but I’ve preferred going totally wireless.Build: Feels solid and weighty. I’m not a huge fan of the specific shade of green they chose as the accent on Penrose X, but I don’t have to worry about that while they’re on my head. They look plenty slick, otherwise. Feels appropriately “next-gen.” Comfort-wise, they were fine. Some of have complained about too much “clamping force,” but I haven’t experienced this myself. I’m a pretty large guy and the headband feels fine to me; the ear cups are squishy but seal nicely, keeping that sweet, sweet audio where I want it: pumping directly into my ear holes, not bleeding into my gaming environment. The App: it’s serviceable. I put it on my PC and connected the headset through USB to see if there was a firmware update; my headset appeared to already be updated, unless it did it automatically for me when I plugged in. I didn’t detect a new version of the firmware, but I’ll check every now and then just in case. You can download EQ settings from the Audeze website for a variety of purposes (an FPS-oriented profile, for instance) or mess with the EQ sliders yourself, but I’ve left the EQ at the default “flat” level and it’s been plenty good for my ears.Value: If you have $300 burning a hole in your pocket, desire a gaming splurge, and also value sound quality in your entertainment, these come highly recommended! I’ve never gone wireless for audio, but so far, I’m sold.

Perfette e Versatili.
